Honestly, the problem wasn't the taboo, the problem was the presentation. People would've been way more open to it if Elias's adoption and childhood had been shown extremely briefly in a few panels at most. Showing the entire painstaking process and throwing hints from that very moment (their first meet looks like a love at first sight encounter and Tyson outright says that having a son is making him hornier!) is what rubbed people the wrong way.

It would have been better if it didn't started with something wholesome with Elias in the beginning. Alternatively, they could start at the present time where both dad's and Elias would have a threesome and then 3 of them contemplating on their past showing us Elias childhood briefly and how his love towards their fathers grew over the years. Leading to Elias sexually awakening at age 18. From there the author can explore Elias's complex feelings towards their fathers. Then once their relationship has been established them 3 will stop contemplating the past and then expand towards intimisizing with their family tree as an optimal route

They do NOT have the skill in environmental and implied storytelling to get something across with nuance and context like this without any dialogue. What the fuck is happening?
