Not that I said it was a date but there's absolutely nothing wrong with giving someone flowers as a greeting, and clearly they like each other. The point was that he IS invited and followed up on the invite, that's not obsessed or stalker-ish. And yes it 100% was an invite, even if you argued it to be just a suggestion, the line was cast out there for Mark to show up. It's not like he's randomly showing up to someone's job that as if River hid it from him.

They clearly like each other and River was blushing after that invite conversation, flowers are absolutely fine. You people just overanalyze shit to death on here and villainize characters for the most miniscule non issue.

To add to this, usually artists draw thumbnails for each page, well before they start doing lineart and stuff, so that they know how many pages it will take and roughly what happens, when and yeah, Zourik doesn't do this, he's always only roughly a page ahead (posts lineart of the next page, when he puts the finished pages online).
