So, Orange Dragon is Drago, Black-and-Red Dragon is Helios. They are sort-of boyfriends. They apparently have feelings for each other and are living together, but did not actually agree to commit to each other or call themselves boyfriends.
Drago is basically the town slut, sleeping around all the time, but coming home to Drago, who agreed to this arrangement, but blatantly hates it and they regularly fight over it. Recent revelations show that Drago used to have a wife, but she was apparently allegedly murdered by White Dragon Prisoner, Naga, who enjoys being ambiguous on whether or not he actually committed the murder, but definitely enjoys tormenting Drago over her death. Drago's trauma leads him to swear off actually being openly in love with anyone else and he sleeps around to bury his pain like an alcoholic would drink.
This would be drama enough, but not only was the murder plot point only recently revealed, but there are also three other players involved, Purple Boss, Dharak; Orange-and-Black Flirt, Haz; Purple Incel Simp, Percy. Dharak regularly fucks Drago, but disrespects him and belittles him when the fuck, calling him a girl, and constantly disrespects his relationship with Helios. Haz likes Helios and wants to be with him, but keeps it to semi-respectful flirting. Percy is an ultra-simp for Drago and somehow manages to be the only one who fails to sleep with the slut who sleeps with everyone. He's down so bad and so hard up that he will get off by sucking a cock he THINKS has Drago's spit on it and blows Helios over this lie, only to be painfully told the truth.
They all work in the same office and the drama revolves around everyone disrespecting Helios and Drago's relationship, several people sleeping with Drago, and Helios being pissed about it., all with a subplot of Dharak being sketchy as FUCK and seeming to have some sort of nefarious plot for Drago. After his latest fight with Helios, Drago storms out of their apartment without his phone and runs into his uncle who takes him to his place for some awkward incestuous tension, clearly wanting to bang, but Drago doesn't want to cross that particular border. His clearly-evil boss, Dharak, shows up somehow knowing where Drago was staying, and coerces Drago into leaving with him without putting on any clothes, rendering him especially vulnerable while Drago's uncle does nothing to stop this obviously-abusive power play. Dharak tells Drago he's taking him to a masquerade, which is only for Darkus-type dragons, which I assume means Darkness-aspected, i.e. purple/black dragons.
Helios, worried that he has no way to contact Drago, learns from Haz that Drago will be at the masquerade and is given Haz's own invitation and told to disguise himself. Helios arrives and sees that Drago is working as a pole dancer there and watches. Dharak, however, immediately clocks him and taunts him, suggesting that Helios enjoys being cucked and watching Helios get fucked by others, causing Helios to storm out before Dharak seemingly mentally orders Helios to move into the crowd and let them molest him. Percy, the incel simp, finally gets his chance to get laid with the object of his desire, but right at that moment, Drago is arrested for being a non-Darkus dragon at the masquerade, having been reported by SOMEONE. The paneling suggests it was Helios, but his dialogue in the next page suggests otherwise. Helios despairs at the fact that he's not enough for Drago and seems to start accepting that he'll never be. Meanwhile, Drago is thrown into a cell with Naga, the dragon who allegedly murdered his wife.
And there we are. They seem to be characters from something, but I'm not familiar at all with the source material. I don't really know if being familiar with it would help with understanding the story.
