It's the pseudo forbidden nature of it all that heightens their arousal for one another. Neither is supposed to be in front of each other in this setting, neither is supposed to know who they are. It's like a roleplay session, now that I think about it. The familiarity and safety of someone you love pretending to be a stranger doing something sexy/naughty to you. Exploring a dynamic that can actually now exist between them in a made-up scenario. Cooper can now loosen up and feel comfortable being a sexy dancer, particularly for Andy, who he really wants to show he's self sufficient and deserving of him. And he gets the opportunity to rile him up and turn the little nerd into putty in his hands, a pass time he's been shown many times to seriously enjoy partaking in. Their roles in this scene, while pretending to not know each other, ironically allow their egos to be cast aside, giving them the chance to act out their desires for one another again, keeping things fresh and exciting and full of love.
I really like this scene a lot. It's hot, it's genuinely sweet. There's a lot of consideration for Cooper here, giving him the reigns to actually gather his nerves and be the dancer/provider he wants to be for the guy he feels he owes everything to.
