1. There was no incest in the wilson comic, so it getting banned from patreon because incest is bullshit
2. If patreon is your main source of income you don't just sit around and finger your butthole 2 months, you go to another service provider and continue your comic
3. If you really like a project you don't just drop it over something like this, you continue it as a slow side piece, just like many other artists have done
4. There have been multiple screenshots of him admitting he dropped it because it was getting too dramatic and hitting too close to home with the whole suicide/cutting stuff
5. He even admits in that very journal that "it’ll be kind of fun to draw something upbeat and horny after working on a serious drama for so long"
6. People lie. All the time. Including furry porn artists. Patreon deleting his account over incest was just a convenient excuse to get out of it.

1. Wilson was Brogulls-related, therefore it was also targeted. This was also explicitly stated. Even without that, he'd had plenty of other incest stuff before.
2. Idk his life. He probably had some savings to fall back on or someone to mooch off of. I know his life's a fucking mess, but I don't know the details.
3-5. He explicitly stated he wants to come back to Wilson, but the situation that forced him to put it on hiatus led him to want to do something more light-hearted for a bit. Definitely didn't STICK to completely light-hearted, but Rats is still definitely lighter subject material. Tripp has angst, but it's angst over his monster dong. The drama has a ridiculous reason at the foundation. What he's said was that Wilson got pretty heavy so he took a chance for a break but didn't say he wanted to drop it entirely.
6. Yeah, they do sometimes. You can never know. Like I said, it's on you if you want to obsess over that. Dev is definitely a sketchy dude, so idk.

I think they’re meant to be unlikable, especially considering that they’re the cause of the men’s issues. I’m not really a fan of Theo and Lug.
