In order to get the private build you've got to go through the really convoluted process of registering for the amorous forums, setting your patreon username in the settings of the profile, instant messaging lenian (the programmer) so he realises you've contributed to the project, following that you have to wait for him to notice your PM you've sent his way. Now, AFTER that, you get access to the forum with the build that was last updated 2 months ago, which is horribly broken, has no save states, and then you have to start over from the beginning each time it crashes.

the issue is with the character creation "fursona" is whole bugged only name can be changed and after you make your character manually you can't do anything
problem is the body parts and different engine, the body parts well if you make them a same color You will see that they're not "connected" they're just floating (muzzle, lengs and other parts..)
changing engine is well...., bullshit if I call it that way, because why changing engine of the game which didn't make much problem, but crashing at the start of the game well that's fucked up

EVEN BETHESDA MAKES MORE STABLE GAMES, AND THAT'S SOMETHING
God dammit they even remade skyrim, so that means crashing when loading game doesn't crash anymore, because the engine is the same like in FALLOUT 4. Bigger allocation of RAM that means it is more stable

Well, the dialogs are pretty good, if you skip them. The music is awesome too, if you mute it. Other choices are not recomended.
The animations of the 90% of the game is a player's hand with a phone. Sounds simple? Well, Jason got fucked up even with that.

Also, half of the sex scene is behind the dialoge window and we won't get the gallery to see it clearly for at least next few years if Jason will keep progress speed like this.

So I played this game for the first time since summer 2015 ( So basically last update lol ) and I kinda liked it back then. I guess I had very low standards at the time.

Seriously, the game and menus are poorly designed, the "animations" are plain awful, especially backgrounds character who would seriously look better if they weren't moving ( But yknow, it's Jasonafex so no surprise here ), the music is obnoxious, dialogue choices are sometimes misleading, and the only character I found likable is the cute nerd who wants to write a book. Does anyone else have difficulty getting invested in ANY of these stories just because of how stupidly short they are?

I think the problem is that I'm used to VNs being about character interaction and relationship building over a period of time. It's hard to take this shit any level of serious when in 20 minutes (real life time) the character and Mercy are saying they love each other after like 2 dates and 5 dialogue exchanges. That shit would be happening in like the 4-5 hour mark in a standard VN.

The stories are just so short and brief I may as well just skip to the porn and blast through the dialogue. Mind you I liked the porn, but kinda wish each story was a developed standard 6-8 hour visual novel story, not like 20 minutes of hi, let's date, lets' fuck, cue credits

No. With Lex in the game there saying they now have their complete roaster and the game is feature complete as far as dateable characters go, Despite not adding that canine cop girl Jackie and that Bird girl. we might be getting a dateable vergence and Kaiber, but that's about it, as far as characters go this is it, the game is done, and they're just getting it into a cleaned up slate slapping 1.0 on the game and calling it done so they can move on from it. I don't know why I still give hopes for this game. I wish the characters were more unique and with different tastes, they are so damn NEUTRAL. To EVERYTHING. They don't get angry; or sad like REALLY sad; the only character who really expressed true emotions were the gecko bartender, the other says they are into some stuff but actually they don't (the lion who likes dominance but don't use it), etc.

Heya, Lennian reporting in.

As you may have noticed, things have been quiet last few months. Getting a v1.0 build out was a stressful undertaking and I've put a lot of love into the game as it stands right now. So much so, that after the last patch, I simply burned out on it. I pushed a few small sneaky fixes here and there, but I really had to let it rest for a while.

Me being me, this hurt a little, as I once said that I wouldn't rest before I left this game in a good v1.0 state. And that is still my intention. So lets get over the list of open things.

- Story closures
- Localization
- Steam
- Bugs

Story closures are pretty much in hiatus right now. I have no idea where they stand, how far they are or if they are even being worked on at the moment. Honestly, I don't really care either. As it stands, I think we left the game in a good place story-wise where you can imagine your own follow-ups. I promise though that if at some point I get access to new "lore" material. I'll obviously update the game. But for now I consider this paused until further notice.

Localization is a thing. For earlier versions I had a localization project running, but I wasn't really happy with how it worked and handled translations. Being the programmer I obviously took it onto me to make something better, which also obviously got run over by other projects. I'm looking into rebooting the old website even though I don't like it much, but I'm also wanting to make a good platform for it, as it is something that I will be needing a lot in the future anyway.

Steam is obviously pretty well integrated right now. There are achievements, the overlay works, screenshots are always full HD and get stored in your Steam screenshot library. The only thing left is Cloud Saves. This has been a personal "want" for me, but I also found I need to refactor how the save system works. Which is something I'm not really fond of doing... It's still on the list of new features, just... not very high up.

Obviously, there are bugs in the game. Luckily, only a handful cause crashes, most of which I have identified by now. There are a handful of smaller issues on my list, most of these you guys probably won't ever see, but I know they are there and it bothers me. For those who keep seeing a headless Lex, this is a known issue that was supposed to be fixed by one of my sneaky updates, but I understood it didn't do much. This one is already fixed on my side, I just need to do a full release for it.

I expect to role out v1.0.4 on the short term. Things are pretty hectic right now, so no promises on when. With this post I'm just letting you know I'm back on the case to provide a solid v1.0 experience.
