They did some things right, they use the same engine, there is no reason to not learn from them. Characters staring somewhere far kinda suck, no need for glued eye-to-eye stare - but I'd assume that two hot creatures going at it would enjoy the sight of each other's bodies rather than some marvellous scenery.

I don't agree with "pose editor everywhere" though. From what I see, most patreon yiff games would hardly have anything - then they get derailed redoing the same thing or fighting other devs. The game you hate breaks this model by having users do everything for them - which has the upside of variety and the downside of having to cope with users' fetishes and often mediocre skills. However, it would be a huge waste of time and good ideas for H&S to just copy them and essentially change the concept to theirs. It would be an instant drop from original and promising game to a clone that is years behind.

So, with the latest version, I've noticed that there is an additional interaction in the pub, several additional buildings in the city, and a ship wreck. There's some slightly improved animations otherwise, but that's it. Might explore some more to see if there is anything notably new in this version, but I'm guessing it's more just open fields, trees, and rocks at this point.

I've been playing this version for a bit now, and I'm already getting frustrated.
First off, I can't find "The Bard" that was supposed to be added.
Second, the Spirit is so hard and time consuming to complete, and as I've found has a mechanic involving random chance. The Davh Drop spawns randomly, which means you need to spend about 30 mins running around the beaches at night just to try to complete the first part.

Nevermind, figured it out. The jobs your character has relate to how you can do quests. The Bureaucrat is willing to get you the charts for doing nothing if you have that as your knowledge trait. Cat gunsmith will fuck you for gun trivia gotten right. I imagine the bar lady doesnt even require you to get the charts if you took explorer, navigation and map traits with your custom character because you could probably chat choice through it.

This game is really not worth the time to download, and I think it should be scrapped and restarted. Animations are good, characters are good, lore is okay, the main problem is just that the map is so damn massive that it's 99% empty space.

Not exaggerating, it's massive and walking across it is a chore even with 50x movement speed. Level design, as a concept, is completely missing.

I suggest the use of the cheat engine program and clicking the speed hack button when you want to go exploring. That said, there are no gameplay motives outside of self-interest that prompt you to explore those locations which are 20 minutes away. It's not uncommon in modern games if you look at Ark for example. People used to get mad about invisible walls keeping you away from scenery so no matter what somebody is going to be pissed off.

It absolutely is not. If there were some purpose to the open space then it would be fine, but all it does is encourage you to explore and get frustrated because you find nothing worth your time and it takes forever to get back. It's something a kid would do, the excessive size only shows how empty the world is and it doesn’t 'pad out' anything because that implies that it adds to the experience rather than subtracting from it. Even if it's just supposed to be a placeholder, it's impossible to use that space effectively

I have mixed feelings of this game.
The count of sex scenes is impressive, but the all bodies look the same. Just different color and little tits size variation.
The level looks really neat but the wast area makes it pain to run long distances. Holding Shift+W for 20 minutes to reach the southern area? Why?
I really hope someone could turn this game into multiplayer arena where 100 players could be both hunters and prey at the same time.
Unfortunately it’s the Unity crap at it’s worst. It runs only single thread (at least on Linux) so it can use only 1/8 of i7 CPU power. It lags badly even on low resolution and second lowest detail settings. Movement in the town falls to 1FPS even at lowest settings. I don’t know, if any game developer ever made Unity to run 3D efficiently.

You can use cheat engine and activate the speed hack, but it sucks majority of the map is empty and you have to cross through that emptiness to get to the other side to find someone or to find another batch of prey to hunt. they could put out more prey's scarred through out the empty plain but you gonna have to wait for that update, also I do believe they gonna add 2 more race

I know thats not gonna happen even if developer ever read this post, but just imagine this H&S multiplayer game idea:
Anyone could run TCP/IP server application where minimum and maximum count of each type players would be configured. Server would spawn bots to meet minimums and remove bots to meet maximums as players join.

Prey (most likely bots only, except extreme submissive players) would spawn outside town, with the only goal of avoiding being captured.
Hunters would spawn in the town with few tranq darts in the pocket. Ammo would be in game currency. Hunter can hunt outside the town only. Hunter can hunt prey thats not already captive, can hunt another hunter that does not have captive prey (or another hunter), can hunt a pirate in any situation. Hunter can have fun with a prey and/or take prey to town to sell it to other player or to municipality for ammo. Prey sold to municipality would respawn then. Hunter can shoot and captive another hunter and have fun for 1 minute limit with him/her. Fuck the consent, this is not real life. Captive could only talk (text message), hunter would be in the control. If hunter shoot hunter with captive prey, shot hunter is disabled for 10 secs and receives 2 darts of ammo from shooters inventory as an apology. In the town hunter can talk to other players and offer ammo for sex scene or offer sex scene (of buyers choice) for ammo. Hunter cannot get ammo by robbing.
Pirates (bots or players) spawn in remote areas. Pirate can hunt anyone including hunter leading his captive. Pirate can obtain ammo only by robbing his captive hunter. Hunter can captive pirate for 5 minutes. If pirate gets inside town or is towed there by hunter, he get leashed to a pole and anyone can have fun with him/her. Then respawns. For simplicity everyone can have only one captive at the time.
Sounds like a fun? I can see a flaw in presumed lack of female players.

Items now have proper hover information showing name, and description and value for some, so you don't have to guess what that pink capsule is x)

There's now a soundtrack in game, composed by Michael Forrester (a pseudonym) <3 The music is intentionally loud when not in acts and at city, but you can lower it in options if you prefer more subtle tones (it's very subtle by default when outside the city). There's separate tracks for day and night exploration, and on-ship theme.
Vegetation (grass and plants) have received some major optimization pass and while it doesn't affect the general frame rate, it does eliminate most of the lag spikes that occur when the camera is rotated (after the initial load!). Also wind now works on grass, it was broken somehow before as small davh drops missing from beaches :P
Terrain uses higher quality mode by default for Ultra, making the mountain look less smudgy from distance.
Character position saving (for autosaves) is more strict now and you should be placed closer to where you left off and have less chance of getting placed in random location far away (or far above you).
Jiggles are a lot smoother now; They used to jitter when moving but no more <3
Inventory functionality has been streamlined a bit (e.g. you can equip one piercing by just dragging and dropping to slot) and random chests are now one way chests (You can take away, but only store in the ship chests; There will be more storage places later on), and you can also now rotate camera when inventory is open like in acts.
Ambient sound system has been reworked and it now blends ambient sounds more smoothly and in general plays sounds better.
Prey should no longer twitch and turn in to weird balls of body parts (happened if you tranquilized one, didn't rescue them, and it was returned back to the spawning pool)
Movement speeds (and jumping) has been adjusted to make bunny hop catching prey pretty much impossible. The Prey will flee a lot faster than the player can run, and jumping cannot be repeated immediately after jumping.
Bunch of other bug fixes, and conversation fixes!

He is in a small ravine close to the shore so you won't see him unless you are running close to the shore line. He is fuckable only for female player. So is Kess, don't waste your time with this quest if you are playing male.
As a straight male you can fuck Sterling (gunsmith), Sinnae (fox in the bar), cartographer on town shore and a female merchant on the main square.
As a female you can fuck Bard, suck Pail and have anal with your bosun. But I haven't explored everything with female player.
There are also gay scenes but I don't do that.

Curiously, I wasn't able to replicate this dialog, even if I restarted the game with another character. It must have been RNG, or maybe a quest I did that triggered it?

For either male or female, to get sex with the Bosun, you need to keep flirting with him while exhausting his dialog.

Then go to your ship, and talk to all your crewmates.

Go back to Bosun, new dialog will appear about each crewmate you talked to. Keep flirting and exhaust his dialog.

You can then have the intimacy act with him.

I remember briefly picking up this game years ago to see if it was any good. Feels about the same but a few characters have been added. What *is* there is pretty good, but there isn't a whole lot of content there at the moment. Worth playing if bored, be aware the map is unnecessarily large and movement is a slog. Autorun and windowed mode + doing something else is your best friend.

Agreed, the cats and dogs don't have the same quality as the lizards, BUT they are also a lot older, as the model artist(s) develop their abilities along time. Or maybe they contracted another artist, that could also be the case.

Also... have you guys noticed that all the penises models are over vaginas? xD

I made a female character and in the middle of a sex scene with that lizard in the square, I moved the camera to look down.
It glitches through the bodies and you can see the 3 lizards' genitals.

They don't even blend properly if you pay atention in the character creator.

Meanwhile I'd be happy with some height adjustment... some of the story goes to lengths to emphasize how large/small another character is... but you can't adjust your own height.

Can't make men larger than women, or vice versa. Everyone is just the same height >.>

To the one who made the mod who allows you to sleep and teleport anywhere, can you add the new locations like the new dewseed village on the kizan island too?

Also is possible to make a mod to "enlight" chests and items? As sometimes are really hard to find it.

There's a newer version up on another thread, look it up on the site, links not on Kemono

Spoiler though, the game is kinda meh, the sex scenes are good, and its even better its with your own character, but my god, you do a fuckload of walking just to get to them. Played through the whole latest version and I was so close to installing cheat engine to speed the game up cause its so fucking bad.

There's hunting in the game as per the name, but there's no challenge to it, NPC's dont fight back, no wild animals to hunt, only anthro ones who run away. Once you incapacitate them you can have a generic sex scene with them, you sell them for faux money that can be traded for real money. Outside of hunting, walking, talking, and fucking, theres nothing to do.

overall it needs work, but its fine if you're bored and horny
