Uh... Well, I got this info from Wikipedia itself (Which you cite as 1 of your sources), my college library database, and some knowledge I grabbed from some Taxonomy classes I took.
Paragraph 1 (You wrote: "both biology, wikipedia, the quora, wikidiff, me and google disagree with you")
First, I don't say I'm "Mr perfect English" (My main language is Spanish), but, you had an error using "Both" in that sentence, since "Both" is used only to refer to 2 things, and you listed 6 things. Here you have the evidence that I'm not lying (https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/grammar/british-grammar/linking-words-and-expressions/both)
Google is not really a source since it is just a web search engine, thus, it doesn't provide any information directly from Google.
Writing "me" before Google is a polite-grammar fault, you always have to write "me" as the last thing on a list.
Paragraph 2 (You wrote: "Animals are divided in Tribes, Orders, and Suborders. If you wish refer to the picture higher up at >>1502174 but "Canine" is a derivative of the Latin "Canini" which is containing two orders of animals") Here you wrote "in" instead of "into", and you are missing a "to" after "wish"
Animals are not only divided into the Clades (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clade) you listed (Tribes, Orders, and Suborders), in fact, there is a really high number of clades in a "complete" phylogenetic tree (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phylogenetic_tree), there are so many that most of them are unnamed but lots of hard-working biologists discovered new ones & classified them in the most important ones, recently on 2015 Thomas Cavalier-Smith updated his classification system from 1998 and established the most accepted system on biology/taxonomy: The 2 domains, 7 kingdoms, 7 main clades system. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taxonomy_(biology)#Kingdoms_and_domains)
Canine as a word can be derived from Canini, but, as I mentioned before, the fact that Canine is a literal traduction from canine (and that Canini is a tribe) doesn't mean they are the same, and again this happens to semantic changes (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semantic_change).
Canine (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canine) (Directly copied from one of your sources)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Canine may refer to: Zoology
dog-like mammals (conventionally designated canids) Following the taxonomic convention, Caninae, the subfamily Canis, a genus including dogs, wolves, coyotes, and jackals Dog, the domestic dog Canine tooth, in mammalian oral anatomy
Canine has different meanings but is not an official taxonomical clade, but, Canini (as you mention) is, in fact, a clade. And again I REPEAT, semantic changes made Canine and Canini different words even if they LITERALLY ARE JUST TRANSLATIONS
("Red foxes not included (but it does include American fake-foxes, which is NOT, what Cassidy is.), "Vulpini" is another order, which is part of the Canid tribe of animals, but NOT the Canini tribe of animals.")
I think you have no idea how taxonomy/clades works, Vulpini is a tribe, not an "Order" (https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vulpini), Canidae is a Family, not a "Tribe" as you state & Canid is a member of the Canidae family (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canidae) The funny thing is that you copied the ">>1502174" image from this Canidae article, but you didn't read that Canidae is a Family and not an "Order".
(You wrote: "For an example; Fenrir is a wolf, a wolf is from the Canid tribe (Canid), Canine order (Canini), Lupine suborder (Canis Lupus). Cassidy is a red fox, a fox is from the canid tribe (Canid), Vulpine order (Vulpini), and Red Fox suborder (Vulpes vulpes). If there was a fake fox character from, let's say the Pampas Fox specie though, it would be from the Canid tribe (Canid), Canine order (Canini), and the Cerdocyoninian (Cerdocyonina) suborder.") You are missing an "s" at the end of "specie".
Again, I don't have an idea of where you got that kind of poor/outdated classification system of "Tribes, Orders, and Suborders", the most basic and accepted Clade-classification is: (Graphical version https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Biological_classification_L_Pengo_vflip.svg#/media/File:Biological_classification_L_Pengo_vflip.svg)
Life Domain/Empire Kingdom Phylum Class Order Family Genus Species
As you can see this classification left out lots of clades (Including Tribes and sub & super clades) but is a really complete system.
As I wrote In my previous post if Cassidy is a Red fox (Vulpes Vulpes) her classification in the basic system would be:
Life: Life Empire: Eukaryota Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Chordata Subphylum: Vertebrata Class: Mammalia Order: Carnivora Family: Canidae Subfamily: Caninae Genus: Vulpes Species: Vulpes Vulpes
(You wrote "Conclusion; Fenrir is Canid/Canine/Lupine, Cassidy is Canid/Vulpine/Vulpine, and our example fake-fox is Canid/Canine/Cerdocyoninian.")
Dude, really, you are starting to sound redundant, you literally wrote that like 3 times.
(You wrote: "To sum things up, calling Cassidy a canine is as erronous as let's say, calling a human a monkey.") Erroneous, not erronous.
If you had the patience of reading ALL of my answers, I gave reasons to why calling Cassidy (Vulpes Vulpes, Red fox) a Canine is Scientifically incorrect but generally correct, Dude you should really read EVERYTHING before answering:
I WROTE: (American English says that an animal from the dog family is a Canine, dogs are "Canids" since they belong to the "Canidae" family; Foxes also belong to the "Canidae" family and thus they can be called "Canines" even if they don't belong to the "Caninae" subfamily. Wikipedia says that dog-like mammals, known as "Canids", are also called "Canines" thus (By previously mentioned reasons) Foxes can be called Canines)
(You wrote: "Also I don't know where you got your image from, but it's the first time I ever see Vulpine being classified as Caninae, in fact I don't think I've ever seen "Caninae" as an existing word".) You are missing a comma after "fact".
Uh, dude, that image
>>1502409
is not mine, it's from the creator of the game and the source is e621 ITS LITERALLY WROTE THERE; To end... what are you talking about? CANINAE IS LITERALLY ON YOUR IMAGE
>>1502513
and here's the official Wikipedia article of what CANINAE is. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caninae)
Dude, I don't know what to say, pls study a bit more before trying to make fun of me.
And if you are reading this creator of kobold adventure, I love your game :3 Edited at 2018/10/07 03:05:38
