Although actually I think the drawings horrible but the creator already says they're temporary or until he gets a better artist, so to contourn this I like to imagine replacing the bear image to something like a brown bear version of Leib from Housamo.

I used Leib as a design example because this teacher is described as a caring but easy heated person when you do things he don't like. I was thinking in use Ashigara as an example but his design seems to be for a hot-potted personality, like he could be a Gym teacher than an Algebra teacher. Leib have a soften and stern designs if you look in the game, so I though Leib's design (him being a brown bear instead of a polar bear) would suits better than Ashigara's.

You guys should give him a break. If you guys at least followed at itchi.io, you would know that he's doing this game all by himself: coding, writing, drawing, etc. He tried to contact artists to help but no success so he decided to do it himself. Also he's using GIMP to draw, he doesn't have money to pay for a better program like Photoshop either knows how to use it

I follow him in his Disc0rd serve and he post his wips he drew by hand. You can see he doesn't use struture, don't use shapes to build the body, perspective, etc.

i read some of it and it's bad.i'm not saying i have the perfect english, i'm not a native english speaker.but man
the english is 5/10.it's understandable at least.the constant 'your' misuse.please, you just need to type " 're" to make it grammatically correct.

the pacing is just toooo fast.
dat pencil borrowing scene.it doesn't feel normal at all.he just tells us what needs to be said and go for the next transition. on the other hand, when he tried to make the conversation natural, idk, it's just soo boring to read, like it's a dialog from a 3rd grade english text book.

the characters are bad.there better be like redemption arc going on later.and i don't wanna say lot about the teacher. i'm not gonna pretend i haven't seen teacher/student relationship portrayed in a doujin posted on this site.to boycott this because of that would make me a hypocrite.but still, make the teacher at least have a little bit of decency.make him attractive.make him fukin tuck his shirt in like how all teachers should.

fix the writings first before working on the art.i'm not an expert in writing so i can't give any advice beside, 'fix it'.

If you think the typos are bad, believe me, it was way bad before. xD
The Disc0rd users helped him to correct these typos but again, nobody is perfect. And again, he's doing it all alone. At least he's doing your best with what he can do

And also you think it's probably fast but you're still in the beginning of the story. There'll be more two or three chapters and that's it. It also will be a short VN.

And another thing I forgot to mention: it's his first VN. He's learning while creating it.

You probably have good intentions but just saying "fix it" won't make him improve. If he's reading this topic he won't gain any useful tips you just pointed out. You clearly detected that he doesn't know how to develop coherent storytelling so you could have just pointed out all the issues and advice each one of them, so he can improve more.

Just saying all of this without hate, of course.

And also I liked the teacher. He's cute besides the appearance :P

So. Uh... Hi. I don't know how I just found this, but hi. It's not cancelled, I got a new pc and set everything up again. The reason that the art looked so bad was that, I simply didn't care that much about it. It was just a filler type thing since I planed on getting an artist later on. Yes, I know there is a lot of grammar mistakes. If you have the time to complain about it, consider telling me about it so I can fix it. I can't really do a toony style, because it doesn't match the actual story. It's a dark story that mostly ends in the main character and the route killing themselves. As you go through the routes you also learn that other people's lifes are shit too (an example would be that Andrew has a physically abusive father). I mean I could, it wouldn't be that bad, but since a more realistic version would be a lot easier, I've been sticking to that. Honestly, if you guys have any complaints or something to say that would help the game, you should join the server. I love getting feed back, even if it sounds like you despise Tooth's very existence. Also, btw that "accidental fan-art" looks fucking awesome man! (Sorry don't know how to mention posts or whatever)

I'm not sure if you're even reading this thread anymore but the problem here is exactly as you described. He looks like he's looking forwards instead of looking down and his face looks elongated because of that. The eyes are also too close up to each other which is not helping the case. Try to find enough reference images to get that perspective right, because now it looks like the facial features are pointing forwards instead of what you're trying to accomplish.

Pic related, it's another perspective mistake worse than yours likely due to lack of references.
