''Thirstchasm v3.1 has been released, this is a very minor update but it'll probably be the last one for a while. (If not, ever.)

A lot of tweaks have been made, but mainly I decided to add some level of actual difficulty to the game. I also decided to make "custom control secrets" more integrated into the game. (Try setting them to either arrow keys or FUCKME, see what happens.) You can read the changelog for more details.

Due to the Ko-Fi being snapped though, the game will probably be on hiatus from here-on-out (again) I don't plan on bringing it back, as I don't enjoy working on it and don't have anything to gain from working on it anymore. Even if it could still get money, I was already planning on canning it by the 10th anyway, due to how draining it was to work on it. Working 8 hour days, at least 5 days out of the week, on something that you don't really like isn't fun. (And no, I'm not releasing the source code just so people can steal it just to ruin my game and profit off of it. If I had to work on it for 4 months on my own, while putting up with all the BS that's come along with it, then I at least reserve the right to not have to release the source code. I'm honestly surprised that I even have to explain this.)

As most people should know, I don't inherently enjoy drawing porn that much anymore. It's just a hobby for me at this point, and I sometimes open commissions to help pay the bills. That's it. Since TC is neither an enjoyable project, nor something that helps out in the financial department, I just can't spend the time on it anymore. Sorry.''

That's utter fucking bullshit. You're overly-entitled to some random free game, just because I decided to add a bat npc. You're obviously biased towards them, so if I had to guess I'd say you're the one who's butthurt about his animations not being exactly what you'd expect from a bat character. (Despite the fact that his animations line up perfectly with his dialogue and personality.) Your argument is basseless and completely subjective. Okay, not that I necessarily want to push this thread back up when the game is confirmed dead, but that has to be satire, right? Like, the guy's delusional if not.

Kincaid didn't steal TC's audience. TC died because Carpetwurm made multiple posts stating he hated working on the game, and it didn't make him any money (not surprising since he didn't make any serious efforts to monetize it) and it took up so much time he didn't have time for his art, so he wasn't going to make any further updates. Which, fine, if he hated working on it, then stopping development was the right call.

But to turn around and then claim that Kincaid is a direct ripoff, despite being a completely different genre with different mechanics and a different art style (I mean fuck, it's isometric vs sidescroller for starters) just because it features a Kobold enemy, a Slime enemy (which is basically an enemy in every H game ever, let's be real) and a Wolf enemy? The latter of which is being included because it was the winning vote on one of their Patreon polls.

It seriously reeks of satire because of how outlandish the claims are, but it's written so seriously it looks like real salt.

Mwell. There's a branching path just after the start; either you use the crowbar for the window or for the circuit breaker; both end up with different scenes but follows on really obscure and maybe bugged/unfinished puzzle.

The card filtering isn't clear on what to do; says high tier goes top but what are high tier ? Does it have to be in certain order for the rest ? no idea. Just as the crates, or the code at the beggining, you have to know the answer to be able to guess it.
