Downloaded the game pre-moded from FlashBangZ to save the headcache, works fine but sadly my machine cant handle the game and takes years to load the normal gameplay.

anyway theres the grills i have, all of them but the "brown panda" are from the illusion imageboard, i edited some of them to fix some annoying details but you can find the original ones very easy since theres no much with the furry and koikatu tag.

I have a pretty good system and it takes ages on mine too, I think its due to the massive amount of mods from the mod pack, try deleting a few you think are unnecessary but keep a backup in case you delete something thats needed for one of your characters.

I suggest sticking to a particular user tag (put "user:usernamehere" into the search box without quotes) as some creators are far more consistent in quality than others, so you'll find similar characters that way.

Check the accessories tab, and go through the various body options, in there is where iv'e found the tail and ears.
as for the nose for the faun, I just took a heart tattoo and placed that over the nose to mimic a deer.
I'm half sure that the game should have these pre-installed

Game is Called Virt-A-Mate. It is the single most flushed out VR Animating and modeling game to date. I'd say it needs it's own thread, but it really isnt a "furry" game. Needless to say, nothing out there even comes close to competing with it. However, that being said, it is a highly, highly complicated game. it isnt something you just start up and play. it's more like you spend hundreds of hours learning how to work with 3D models, and Animation. But, if you can swallow the complication and stick with it, the rewards are beyond your imagination.

Not OP but it seems there are no modded muzzles or noses for anthro characters, you can cheat it by using the makeup and modifying the nose/mouth with the sliders.

OP here, I was referring to virt-a-mate in my replies, but yeah if he didn't mean virt-a-mate then the only way I know of so far in Koikatu is to play around with the face settings and makeup to get a muzzle and have a kemono style anthro chara. But easiest way is to download a character card and then modify it in your own way

Unfortunately none that look good, their more realistic looking human games have a handful of furry things but they look pretty bad unless you want to aim for a simple cat girl or something. For that you can go to honey select.
Otherwise the only other game I know similar to this is custom maid 3d 2, which has its own furry mod community.

Since it looks like there isn't a lot of male characters out there, and that almost every character has a small/short snout I made my own male character with a long snout.

Also I made him a trap beacuse reasons.

I didn't copy the ears and the tail to every outfit.

Install kPlug, it's pretty much the ultimate mod, and it adds vagina physics to the game, as well as the option to have orgys, invite girls to the room, and a shitload of other stuff. Plus its features are very well documented in a manual.

I have rabbit ears as an option after installing the flashbangz and hongfire mods, animal ears start with "hexa". haven't really located a good source for individual 3rd party clothes and items though, not like 3dgc had.

Animations are very few and are decent, you can lower the pitch of the voice if it gets too annoyingly squeaky but it mostly depends on the girls personality and voice pitch.

Firstly be sure you have flashbangz version of koikatu installed, its got a lot of necessary mods preinstalled.
Your easiest bet to start this would be to just download a character card off of illusionbooru, or this site, and make modifications, otherwise it takes a lot of editing to get the dimensions right for the face

Here, choose one of the latest koikatu downloads, this gives you a huge list of mods pre-installed in the game.
Then, my suggestion is to go on https://illusioncards.booru.org/index.php
And look for pre-made furry characters there, or download character cards from this thread.
Then just modify them as you like, because it is actually quite hard and takes getting used to to make anthro characters (especially the snout) in a game which wasnt really designed for them.

1.- Download both files

5.- Run "Mod Updater Tool" and click update sideloader mod pack, if this shows an error about the connection it may be because you hit MEGA data limit, just run a VPN and continue downloading or cancel the updates and wait some hours for your mega data to replenish. (You can play without the mod updates so start playing if you want to wait for your MEGA data)
Run the mod updater tool quite regularly to keep your mods updated
6.-Now just run the "FlashLauncher" to start the game

With this, you should be able to play the game with most of the furry content out there.

This one was made by Epic Dragon.

Epic Dragon and Wild have made some outstanding KK furry cards.

Wild has a cartoony style, meanwhile, Epic Dragon comes from HoneySelect and his style is quite more "realistic" but still awesome.

Google "screwthisnoise" and click the patreon link, scroll through the patreon page until you find "koikatsu RX3" download that one. It has a lot of addons included, you'll need to find the tails.horns, ears, etc in the accessories. I recommend starting with a character card from the illusionbooru site and editing it.

5.- Run "Mod Updater Tool" and click update sideloader mod pack, if this shows an error about the connection it may be because you hit MEGA data limit, just run a VPN and continue downloading or cancel the updates and wait some hours for your mega data to replenish. (You can play without the mod updates so start playing if you want to wait for your MEGA data)
Run the mod updater tool quite regularly to keep your mods updated
6.-Now just run the "FlashLauncher" to start the game

With this, you should be able to play the game with most of the furry content out there.

Protip, if you want to make good male cards. Use the female character editor and port it by dragging and dropping the saved card while you have the male editor running into the game.

It will be changed to a male card and all you have to do is make sure the dong is set right then save and there you have it.

Anyway have a modified Wild (popular anthro card maker) card that someone else modded into Mangle from FNAF and I modded once more to make Mingle, a non homicidal sex-bot.

So, I decided to give BetterRepack a try and I can tell is far better than Flashbang's repack in all but one thing, performance.

Better repack has the game pretty much untouched from the Steam version, so character cards hot-swap with Kplug works perfectly and does not corrupt the character, it has no annoying girl voice lines at the main menu and it just better in load times and graphics.

Most cards will work out of the box, some of the newer ones might have that issue if they're using newer items and such. The repack includes KKManager though, which should be able to grab all the latest plugins/mods for your for the most part and install them in those situations. You'll want to customize what you download though, IIRC they had to shift the files to some server instead of MEGA due to dmca bans or something so it tends to run slow. The alternative is to dump the card into this online mod detector, but I personally think taking some time to just update everything is probably better.

The modpacks consist of fixes to the main game, added options, wider sliders and significantly more items, to name a few things. Highly recommended.
The chara studio is a fun little tool to pose characters as you wish, go through the options and they're all very self explanatory.

This probably seems like a stupid question, but some of the cards I have say I'm missing "cream002", and I can't seem to find this supposed mod anywhere I look. I've even looked through Sideloader Modpack, but to no avail.

Edit: There's also "8246asdf.Upper Eyes" sometimes, which I can't seem to find anywhere either.

I know I've asked earlier, but it honestly gets very infuriating whenever I load some of the furry cards and it says I'm missing stuff like "8246asdf.Upper Eyes" and "cream002". I can't find any of these mods anywhere. There are missing parts like ears, which can be replaced pretty easily but is otherwise a hassle, or in some cases the head or face looks hella creepy.

Also I have EC001 added, but the game does not detect it for some reason and still says it's missing. It could be other mods conflicting with it (considering I have a lot of mods installed from the Sideloader pack, among other things), but who knows.

I've been doing them on and off for some time, using kk only a year now. I think it helps if you can draw well so you can transfer 2d references to 3d in your mind better
but the way I learned techniques was to just look at cards as examples and browse through all the sliders to see what does what. it's a lot of xyz axel manipulation but pretty simple once you know the knobs compared to actual modeling, rigging, texturing and shit. I always keep that in mind and it takes only an hour or so to make one character. I couldn't imagine making all that from scratch every time
ramble ramble
anyway for instance, to make a long snout you have to be a bit clever and first stretch the whole head on the z-axis. then scale the upper head portion back down on the same axis to make it look normal again. this way the lower part of the whole face is left stretched (now forming a long nose/snout) while the upper half is more or less unaffected. it's done this way because if you try to just stretch the bottom half it doesn't look good, if I remember right it doesn't actually morph the nose at all like this.

as for character accuracy, of course I try, but there are people that are way better than me. most of them paid on patreon tho. love the bonemod for enabling all these options

You could just download the most updated version of the koikatsu package and download any furry cards you like.

Judging from the question, I assume you are new to this. Koikatsu along with other illusion games don't need to install cards or maps. It uses a unique method of save system in which you can export and import png image file made by the software such as the ones you see here. It is a Png file and are in 5:7 aspect ratio for characters and clothing while scene file are 16:9. Scene files are opened via studio and not koikatsu it self. Here is the latest link to the game from what I can find. You will need a torrent downloader of some kind:

The pussy is not a mod, I made it with 4 spheres and a couple of hours of tweaking to get it to look right, have proper position for animations and cum leakage. I also edited the material properties to make it blend better with the body.

The eye pupils are also not a mod, I just combined a few things and changed the colors. As for the clothes I already had them preinstalled when I downloaded the better repack, which includes the game and almost every mod there is preinstalled, and is regularly updated.

My bad then, I haven't manually downloaded any mods, just installed the better repack download. I have version 5.1 which is not the latest version, so any version 5.1 and up should have it automatically.

I'm surprised nobody has looked at some of the anthros on the booru, because there's plenty with digitigrade legs. I made this Loona card using a combination of many other cards (belonging to Wild and EpicDragon for starters), but I redid the nose face texture and changed the eyes and hair. I prefer sharp and piercing eyes to roundish cartoony ones. I also used a slightly larger more roundish nose which I left in as the "Sleeping Over" uniform, so use that if you don't like mine. EpicDragon did the body overlay, something he will no doubt notice immediately. I also swapped the ears out for more accurately wolfish ones. She's got digitigrade legs, but if you just want the legs, copy the "body bonemod" of this card in the chara creator. Have fun.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and you probably will need to make sure you have KKManager and download all of the sideloader mods. You can skip the extra maps because they take forever to download. I have no idea what stuff will break if you don't, but you should do it anyway because they just ported over Kplug's new H animations, and there's dozens of them. You need to download AnimationLoader from somewhere though (a single .dll file). Worth it.

Was working on another character with a similar name, decided to redo the ears, face, and body overlays to fit Tsampikos OC. Still a W.I.P. with two flavors that may not get released widely, but it will be shared here at least. There's an in game character creator. You can either create and save character's through that (it can be tedious and finicky sometimes), or drop character cards in your files. Just right click and save the character cards and drop the image into your character folder

There is a main "story" mode (I use quotes because of how few people give a shit about story in a porn game.), and a Free H mode for animations. Lots of people swear by the studio tool, but I've never bothered with it.

kPlug has the majority of the added animations, however, some people don't like it because its creator refuses to use the code improvements in the later versions of Better Repack, and in fact the kPlug installer rolls back those code improvements. However, kPlug does add some features to the story mode, but other mods more or less do the same things it does. For a time, it did have the best uncensor out there, adding physics to dick and vag, but it has been superseded by the kk_UncensorSelector, which is included with Better Repack.

There is an ongoing effort to port kPlug's animations to Better Repack without using kPlug, but it has fallen behind.

You can't merge the parts, and it's not possible to unpack them one at a time. Think of them as a collective .7z file.

You download the split files, and once all of them are downloaded you select all of the parts, right-click, and unpack them all to where you want.

What we seriously need is leg mods. There is a digitigrade base card on Illusionbooru but the feet look disgusting, if someone could mod a choice of anthro legs that'd help a ton.

I worked on fixing the digitigrade legs a little bit to look more fawn like + "hooves", not perfect but I think it's way better than the squashed foot look from before. They also work with legwear!

Now if someone could make a hoof or paw model..?

What do you mean with hoof or paw model?

Adding just an accessory is pretty easy.
Adding a body/uncensor that has hooves or paws is much more complicated and only some modders are capable of doing it.

I see, body type with full digitigrade legs including hoof/paw would be ideal.
Accessory wouldn't be perfect but it might work, sadly even in the basic shapes there isn't an easy or good way to make a believable looking foot for anthro characters.
