----- Changelogs: KNOWN ISSUE - Sometimes the movies will freeze the whole game. I've found a plugin that will remedy this, but didn't have time to figure it out before releasing the promo. Just save often!
This will NOT be the final product, this is simply a test run to see how well I could adapt to the new system.
BASICS: - Right click or go to sleep to save your game. - There are 2 images and 3 animations to collect and view over and over on your home computer. - SAVE a lot because of the video crashing issue. - You can find and view the animations and images in the downloaded folder (I think), please do not post them anywhere without crediting me and promoting this game!
INFO: My reasons on discontinuing with Renp'y: - Renp'y doesn't support multiple demo updates, not recognizing newly added switches and variables, which will be added a lot throughout the development of the game. Therefor, I can't throw out playable builds without people running into code breaks. - I'm not a coding genius, thus using Renp'y is a constant struggle and takes up a lot of the development time. I find myself constantly wanting to smash my head into a wall over coding mishaps. - Renp'y is LIMITED unless you are a master code manipulator. It is very disheartening to have ideas that I can't execute with the current platform. - It has taken me over a year to do in Renp'y what I could do in a few months with RPG Maker MV. Which means, more time for more of the content YOU want. Porn.
Now I know some of you are going to be upset by this change, or unsure at the very least, but I assure you....This is going to be better.
The game will not lose any aspects it currently has, the biggest change being that you can move and interact with the world freely instead of being chained to a click-to-go-to-this-area system. Let me break down why I'm switching to RPG Maker MV.
Why RPG Maker MV?: - Coding is amazingly easier, making it so I actually enjoy making the game, and opening up so much time for making more animations, pictures, and events! - I can add in a day/night system that actually cycles through dawn, dusk and all that jazz. NPC's can freely have their own Monday-Sunday schedules. - There can be a battle system for easy item collecting and selling. - I can make more areas to explore and Pokemon to meet. - It still has that visual novel appeal of colorful bust images of speaking characters. - Mini-game plugins are a breeze! - Pal around with NPC's, they react to your actions though! - Town events and dates can be a thing! - I can easily release playable builds every few months without the new content crashing the game. - This is the direction I want to go for all future game projects, so why not start here? - It won't take me long to catch up with where the Renp'y game is, seriously. This system and I work way better with each other.
In just a few weeks, I've learned the basic ropes of the system, created several maps, sprites, animations, events and pictures. If that doesn't speak volumes over what I can accomplish with RPG Maker MV, I don't know what will. With the small amount of time I had to spend coding, I had a massive amount of free time to work on the porn aspect, the aspect you all love.
Promo includes: - 8-15 minutes of gameplay - 2 NEW full animations, 1 old one with a climax finish - 2 NEW naughty images - 1 NEW character - A terribly rough-draft battle system

PS: Since we reached the goal of $800, I have been already highlighting important information, items, names, and hints in the game dialogue. Even if we dip below it, I feel this is an important aspect to keep going forward. ^^ Thank you all!
