Took it upon myself to pledge and look into this a bit. This project seems to be a mixed bag of things. After searching a bit through Nagibator's D!scord and playing some of the things he has posted on his D!scord, this is the conclusion I've found, starting with the Cons:
Cons: -Nagibator's name makes it harder to find his content since it's so common. He also goes by "Not_Nagibator" on occasion which confuses things more. You can find some of his stuff on e621, Deviantart, and FurAffinity. Didn't know he had these things until I took a look at his mediocre website which hasn't been updated since September 10th of 2020. -Nagibator seems to have no issues with just up and disappearing from Patreon. He stays active on his D!scord, but it's a gross miscalculation to believe that every patron will have D!scord. -Lots of broken promises. Nagibator seems to bring a lot of hype to things and then keeps you waiting. He still has yet to post a pic from the poll he took last month. -"Dog Ate My Homework" Patreon syndrome. There seems to be an excuse for everything. -Nagibator's team is extremely confusing. Everything is advertised as if Nagibator is doing this solo, but some guy named Ghostgunner seems to step into the spotlight like he's running the show or something. Upon closer inspection, he seems to be the writer with some added benefits. -Strong kinks from both developers. Seems Nagibator is extremely into including anal content, thicc asses, and the possible inclusion of allowing NPCs to bang your companions. He goes into some bullshit about how it's a fighting game, so it gets hard to avoid it, but he does say it would be mostly optional, with blowjobs being enforced at times. The other developer seems to have a serious chubby for the wedgie kink. At first it was unclear whether this was Nagibator's doing or Ghostgunner's, but it appears to be the latter. One look at his Deviantart submissions and favorites and you can get a feeling where this game might be going. -Advertising is piss poor. -Final release of his "Pre-TLC" game was unfinished and had 1 or 2 vulnerable areas for crashing. -Patreon still shows outdated banner artwork and tiers. -Nagibator apparently got a real job and now has less time to work on things. -Not really a con, but if you don't like Ash Williams' personality in the Evil Dead movies, you're most likely going to find the MC incredibly annoying. I think he's hilarious.
Pros: -From what I can tell at face value, Nagibator seems to be extremely genuine. He has some streams on his website that show him working on things and he seems to truly enjoy working on this project. Having a conversation with him is a pleasant enough experience, mainly because he'll give you the time of day and talks freely. Just seems like a laid back guy trying to make a porn game. -Even though Nagibator disappears for periods of time, he at least brings an enormous quality increase the next time around. His art before was okay at best, but his recent stuff holds up quite well. Will post some of those after this. -On the topic of quality, there's a strong focus on it. Nagibator's grammar is usually 9.5/10, if not 10/10. This translates to both the project and his DM's which at least tells me he isn't careless. The art and writing seems to reflect well with the KFP movies. Apparently there is some intention to include a tie with the Body, Mind, and Spirit gimmick that the movies have. There are also other things that seem to show dedication to accuracy and quality in the game, including research of film location layouts, currency, native species, the Eight Trigrams, Yin and Yang, and other shit. There's a sketched up demo that Nagibator and his co-dev had done called Indecent Exposure which I suppose was a mock-up of what they intended quests to be like. Needless to say, it was fun and played very nicely. -Some good use of the Ren'Py engine. Haven't seen many, if any, Ren'Py games that have an RPG tile movement to them. Usually all VNs simply use choices to get around. Also saw a clip on the D!scord (Again, wouldn't have found it anywhere else) that showed colors changing with a slider, which tells me that we'll have more customization options for the Player. On top of those things, the combat system has apparently made leaps and bounds, although I can't say I've seen anything that supports this. -His "Pre-TLC" game, while unfinished and often cringy, is actually quite good for something he claims is his first actual game project. The dialogue for each character seems fitting. It does seem to progress a tad too fast though. -A developer that actually has his own website. He currently owns two domains: kungfuxxxgame.com (which is extremely finicky when paired with "https://" and "www.") and nagibator.net. I imagine another website is intended for the kungfuxxxgame domain, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Regardless, it's there. With the nagibator.net domain, Nagibator slightly rectifies the issue of having a common name. No clue if it will prove fruitless or not. -The original image that OP posted is actually the main menu of the "Pre-TLC" game. It's interactive and quite possibly could be one of the most genius main menu's I've seen in a long time. Also, there is a tiny square in the corner that lets you swap out the girl on the right, which also works with the cheat codes posted above. -A developer that livestreams. All cons aside, one of the most important things for a developer is to communicate and Nagibator at least does that fairly well. If not in a livestream, then in D!scord.
To conclude, I think this game has the possibility of being one of the best porn games out there, especially for a furry game. It pays good respect to the movies and some of the TV shows while also including certain kinks like wedgies, femboys, strong women, thicc bodytypes, etc. that (some) are toggleable. But Nagibator's failure to stay consistent is the biggest downfall to everything as a whole, which truly is an unfortunate shame. Maybe in a year or two it will be worth supporting, but for now, I'd save my money. Nagibator has expressed interest in making a video Developer Post that will explain everything they've done during the almost year of no posting, but there's no saying when he'll have that done.
