With NS, they're apparently still focused on their Shadow over Isolation game. Though things have been all quiet recently with that.

A great irony is if they actually stuck with their proof of concept demo and didn't blame their audience for "not getting" something that NS themselves didn't even put focus on, they'd probably have something finished by now.

I added a few post processing steps to enhance the overall atmosphere of the game and im really satisfied with the result now:> I only have to implement a crouch feature for the player controller (If anyone has a good script let me know) and im ready to add the actual naughty features:>

weird, i'm booting it in oculus home with steam VR running in the background if needed. I loaded Heat just fine as well as H3VR to see if the oculus was being weird, and it's doing just fine.

I tried removing the appdata folder and that did nothing
Gonna see if running it on a drive that isn't the C: drive would be causing it
it's weird since the stock game works fine too.

The VR version is kinda dissapointing. It's literally identical to the desktop version so not even sure why these are seperated, only thing you do with controllers is change scenes. Also the fixed player positions like with fucking are gone, so it manages to be even less immersive as well.

The game seems to use OpenXR which is the bleeding edge universal open standard for VR stuff (which would be nice instead of all platforms having their own snowflake implementations and needing translation layers). I think SteamVR only got this like at 1.16 a month ago, opting into SteamVR beta seems to fix this particular game.

As another person who was able to open this in VR, I have no idea what's going on with your end there. It opened with SteamVR right away.

Granted, it looks like you're going the Link cable method? I only use Virtual Desktop so maybe there's something going on there.

I said SteamVR, you are using Oculus, so you are translating layer (Oculus SDK) to another layer (OpenVR) to another layer (OpenXR) right now.
Google up how to enable OpenXR on Facebook Spyware.

I don't think it would matter where the application is located.
Mine is here: "n:\Game01\Mutant Alley VR 1.10\Mutant Alley.exe"

If you try to runs with "Mutant Alley.exe" or via Steam library...
...then the Oculus home will trying to manage the game automatically.
And the game will not find the headset.

I think so too, the Oculus Link wants to be the primary VR management.

"Games" > "Add a Non-Steam game..." > "BROWSE" > (you will find the location of the file) > "Add selected programs"

Then in Steam game library:
"Mutant Alley" (you right click) and select "Properties" > choose "Include in VR Library"
Then nothing else needs to be varied!

As you saw in the video, just need to run SteamVR.

You need to enable Beta Mode for that, which depends on the type of build you have. You might be able to switch it on if you know how to mess with the code.

There's a drink machine behind the gate behind the dino, approach it until an icon appears to "buy soda" and press one of your buttons (depends on the headset) to buy a drink, keep buying them until you have I think it was 5 drink icons then go to the dino and press the same button to have it drink and subsequently piss.
