It's actually worse.
1/3 of the code are descriptions and disabled sound options while more than half the remaining code is actually redundant.
Long story short, it was a windows forms trial to deliver most of the project files to someone else so that it could copy paste most of it on an actual engine. But due to "2020" it ended in a "just dump all pics on the core trial, add some tape around it and hope it holds".

It doesn't allows Female>Male anymore and sound effects are disabled.
There was also an unfinished version with a more elaborated battle system that also allowed F>M that never hit the net.
But as explained earlier, there were never meant to be full games and one was completed due to a "shit happens" time.

the game itself is pretty garbage, but it's actually impressive just how much art there is, and most of it is quality too. Good thing they all are easily accessible just by going into the game's files, so you don't actually have to, you know, play the game.

yeah, it certainly needs to be balanced and adjusted. The groundwork is there and its pretty straight forward but its weighted too heavily against the player that actually playing it and understanding what the fuck is happening kinda blows. There's far too many negative events to really justify looking around at the off chance that you get berries and water. Not to mention status effects seem to hardly work when you use them but enemies seem to always hit them whenever they use a specific move. Trying to play smart and use status affects like sword dance or thunderwave just seems like a waste of a turn and doesn't really help that much. Fuck enemy weaviles though. I don't understand how 50% of attacks seem to always miss them and every time I've encountered them its always been either a team wipe or an huge amount of resources to recover from the fight.

Definitely agree that the most impressive aspect is just how much content there is available.

Overall, I liked it. Though I'm someone that likes to min/max, so figuring out the most optimal moves is my thing. The porn CGs are pretty cute too.

I thought Charmie was pretty useless, however I'm just now realizing she's probably best utilized as a tank (her having defense curl and prioritized when defending.)

I didn't really read anything, so I dunno what the story is about.

As for why people think it's garbage;
This game requires a bit of luck which people aren't a huge fan on. Take my meowth fight for example, I got earthquaked round 2 and I couldn't really do anything to come back from it. It's also a porn game, so the tolerance for difficulty and luck are pretty low. I've seen other porn games where people say it's bad because of how unfair and challenging it is (I'm thinking of Crimson Keep on newgrounds.) People play porn games for porn and losing keeps them from that, even though losing gets you that here. If there wasn't sex interactions with all the Mons, I probably would have thought less of this game.

you also gotta factor in the fact that some mons you dont see until later in the game so it can be pretty frustrating seeing the same few ones and not being able to reach the others because of issues with luck, as you've said. If you go into it blind a couple times and only see the same few scenes over and over but you know theres more beyond where you've last gotten then it just becomes repetitive and frustrating trying to get further when it can simply be beyond your power to do so if the game just chooses to give you a bad match up or an enemy just happens to spam a specific move, like earthquake. There really isnt anything you can do when all three of your girls are downed and just taking free damage. Certainly doesnt help that "look around" is your only real way of hoping for resources and like 90% of the time its like 10 turns of dildo status, flat TP damage, or the worst once I've seen was next fight start with all 3 downed.

I personally dont think the game is garbage but is more like a diamond in the rough with a lot of rough to be polished out. Also yeah, the art is a good selling point as well. Its a style that might not be for everyone but it was enjoyable. With a concept like this, though, I could see other artists making their own version of the game by simply redrawing the assets and making their own packs.

Finished it without any codes but one of the biggest problems is that there is no tutorial and unless you take a look at the AttackDex.txt things are harder than they should.

Thunder Wave reduces the target AGI greatly, allowing you to land most hits on speedy things like Weavile and reducing hit chance of enemies (Meowth has less than 50% accuracy if Thunder Wave'd against unleveled heroines).
Both boosting moves are OP as fuck, even more broken if used before an ultimate attack.
Lopunny is supposed to tank almost always while only attacking enemies with multiple AoE moves with Dizzy Punch to try to land a Stun, also she learns Work Up to increase damage later.

Feels like the game was made around the setup mode to enjoy the porn, with the player being able to fight the heroines and fuck them in any way he wants while they can actually retaliate, instead of getting an "stiff" gallery that provides no emotions for a "player/challenger".

Props on this event.

I kinda just glossed over the attack dex and didn't really gleam too much information. I figured thunderwave did something but felt like it didn't have much of an affect that I could see so couldn't really tell if it was worth using a turn on or not. Bulk up and Swords dance though, for sure, is the bread and butter, especially once you got blizzard and of course the ultimates as well.

Honestly my first impression after the first attempt or two was that if it merely had better progression right out of the gate it would prove to be a bit more balanced. Getting enemies with less than 1k health that you can take down with relative ease in order to work on leveling up and such but instead running into a lucario and two aggrons in the first tier can be relatively devastating to your resources. The free battle is certainly nice but I might give it another shot knowing that thunderwave is supposed to lower accuracy and dodge rate.

Even though its likely a dead project and I still dont know who is the one behind it I wouldn't mind seeing it worked on, balanced, and expanded upon or at least remade in a better engine if that was considered.

I knew about non-attack moves being useful, but I had no clue there was a leveling system where you learned more moves. I kind of just speedrun by clicking ADVENTURE every time. The only time I didn't was LOOKing for berries or healing.
Looking through the atkdex, I never got the TM moves but I did get the ultimates.

you gained ultimates by progressing the game via adventuring on and doing the boss fights and such. The tm fights seem to be random when you look around or choose to specifically fight but neither progress the game. I think you can get a tm fight when adventuring on purely by random chance because one run when i did nothing but adventure i ended up unlocking blizzard by chance at some point.

The game tells you about the event TM Boss Battle that grants you a TM the first three times, while the fourth gets you the fight against the Meloettas (when doing the Melo event, it tells you that you are doing that event because you did the other three).

How exactly to you do the battles in this game? I'll adventure until a fight starts then the small screen announces a fight and I can select moves on the larger battle screen but I can't do anything else. The "Tips" on the launcher say to click the 'Fight!!' Button to complete your turn but I don't see anything like that.
