Hey, I'm Evergreen. I'm developing a dumb furry-ish video game using GZDoom. It's called Marzipan Galaxy Fuck-Tank.

Right now it's not really anything playable, as I only have one level that I use to test the game's features and stuff.

Yes, that's him. I ripped him from the ps2 game, then gave him some basic rigging and rendered him as a sprite for GZDoom.

Hello again! I got an okay amount of work on this game done today. Added another weapon for the first playable character "Chadwick" who now has four fully functional weapons.

Aside from that, we have a functional PDA system, as the game's story is told mostly through journal entries.

As for the rest of the playable characters, In addition to OCs I want to have a bunch of different furry characters with different weapons and abilities. Sly Cooper as a PC is in the works right now.

Unrelated to characters and weapons, we now have a shader for water, instead of ugly flat textures.

Other than these few things, I don't have much else to report on. If you have any questions about the game, please ask! Reasonable suggestions are also taken into consideration!

Hey there! While it's nothing really amazing, I've compiled a small "environment demo" with a map I made to test weapons and lighting.

Note that I'm using some placeholders as well, and that this environment is not final.

To play the game, double click on GZDoom.exe and select "MGFT Gaiden" as your game. After configuring your controls, you should be able to use weapons, cycle your inventory, drop flares, and read text on your PDA.

I've started to work on the large map that the game itself will take place in.

Basically, the end goal of the final game will be to obtain security cards to infiltrate a strange bunker, the center of said bunker being your goal.

To get the cards for the bunker, you'll need to explore, interact with NPCs, shoot stuff and do some light platforming.

Nineties flashback! Doom II graphics! I was raised by Doom I & II. So many memories, so many memories!
I just don't get why to rise GZDoom from the eternal rest. It has been already archaic engine when created with purpose of keeping obsolete classic game playable on new operating systems.

Anyways, the reason I haven't updated this week is because my dog passed away and I got depressed as fuck. Don't worry though, I do intend to update this project as frequently as possible.

I did take a step back though, to try and realize what I really want this game to be.

Right now I'm working on health items, a larger map to poke around in, as well as some decals for the walls and floor. Completing a demo map is on my to do list.

Hello guys, I'm sorry I haven't updated at all. I spent a while in the hospital, once for mental stuff and another time for knee surgery.

So I basically had to start my game over, but I've got everything from the demo remade in a newer, more organized way. As for the content of the next demo, you'll have a sewer level to explore and shoot stuff in and people to talk to.

For anybody looking at this for the first time, this game will be a sort of prequel to a stupid comic I posted on u18 years ago when I was still doing hard drugs. I want to refine the story I had and make it a little more like... good?

Hey everyone, back again with a new update. I'm working on some better sounds for the game's enemies (cause they sound like drunken hobos ejaculating rn) and I've started trying to create a drivable vehicle but that's really hard in this engine.

I'd also like to say that if anyone wants to help me work on this game, or has feature suggestions and legitimate constructive criticism, please throw them at me! I'd love to create a game that people can kind of enjoy, and the best way to do that is to ask people what they like and don't like about it.

If you wanna see certain characters or something too, I'd be open to hearing your ideas!
