it died because the guy behind it was a retard and tried to expand the game into other bits and pieces that had nothing to do with the original. The showcase was pointless and iirc the scenes bit were just stand alone animations without much variety. Basically stacked on way more work that the project didn't even need instead of doing the thing that hooked people in the first place. Should have just focused on expanding the breeder part of the game instead of burning out over everything else. I doubt anyone will pick it up now, nobody even wanted to pick up breeding season despite its success.
