True, this comic is great, unique, and clearly took a great deal of time and effort. Which is why it's all the more sucky that this artist let the abstract undertones in their work totally take over to the point where none of her other works are attractive by any stretch of the imagination, instead looking like regular tumblr excrement. Yeah, she's breaking up her talent and rationing it over several projects, which is good if you're a fan of hers. Personally, I'd rather have quality over quantity, but it's clear from the tweet that the likelihood of that happening is null. Additionally, reverting back to the quality of works displayed in this thread doesn't give her an excuse to have several Kickstarters, and even more Patreons. It's excusable, but still fishy none the less.

true and as many AMAZINGLY well detailed (for story, general art style and humor((which is my favorite category)) comics there are it would seem there is never enough work with good quality around when you need it. I like to go a few weeks without checking my usual places and just binge watch/read some good plot(crappy joke I know) filled hentai/stories. personally I'd rather wait a month for an artist to make a good romp with the popular Disney movie that's coming out than wait a week for a half-assed one were we've seen the general formula for a thousand times before.
