I'm conflicted, here. Palcomix typically make hilariously bad comics, but the artstyle here is at least passable. I guess.

But Jesus Christ man, that excessive amount of dialogue. Plus the placements of all the speech bubbles is as unintuitive as possible.

What the hell kind of order are we expected to read these word balloons in? Not only is 80% of the dialog unnecessary, they're placed in such a way that creates total confusion.

Left to right, top to bottom. What's so hard to grasp about that?

I feel like comic quality would be drastically improved if bbmff (or whatever the fuck he goes by) at least made an effort to screen and proof-read the scripts he gets.

You know the weird thing is I think their quality has gone down significantly over the years. If you look at some of their early comics, particularly the Avatar ones they actually look pretty damn good. But they were also producing less comics back then too, they'd have maybe two or three comics going at once on one site. Now, they've got like ten comics going at once just on the Palcomix site and they've got like three or four other sites that they crank out content for to. What you're seeing is a lack of time and a stable of so so artists who've been hired on to mass manufacture content.
