Yeah, but no. That was when Eric published the comic.

The presence of certain kinds of technology (including DVDs) places the comic in a generalized 2000s era. Nothing in the comic, however, nails the story to a specific year. The comic itself began in 1996 and ran for twenty years, which means Eric was working on a Simpsons-style "sliding timeline" at best. (The events of the comic's entire storyline would have taken place across only two or three years, anyway. There were no major timeskips and the story was presented as one long-running continuous narrative.)

I do agree with many on here that it's fucked of zig's choice of revenge to rub banging his mom on his face.

Judging by the sound Robbie is making in that last panel he has either just bust a nut in his pants at the mental image of Zig Zag and his mom banging.

Or it's the sound one tends to make when suffering from a stroke as the thought of Zig Zag and his mom doing that caused his blood pressure to sky rocket resulting in a stroke. The stroke will probably leave poor Robbie with diminished mental and physical capacity and wheelchair bound for life. After being arrested she'll be paraded out infront of the gathered media crying out "I did all for you, Robbie. Mommy did all for you." But all this is lost on poor Robbie as he sits in his wheelchair unable to comprehend any but the simplest of things with his infantile mind as he stares blankly at the television screen blowing bubbles with his drool in the darkened house.

I'm one fan of Zig and this comic so far hurts deep. Zig was a character that helped me smile a bit with what little content I could see during the late 56k modem years of the internet. An she's one of my top 10 as to why I got into the furry fandom.
My life to this day over 14 years ago, my father screwed over our family and caused about half a million U.S. Dollars in loss of properties and finance stability and there after problems, all because he didn't care how his sex life and activities would hurt us and basically said take care of your selves. An I'm still trying to fix what I can while helping my mother any were I can.
Little tid bits of Zig here and there that was funny help make my worse days better. Now this comic comes in and all the mother has to say is "opps sorry i got used for revenge sex" basically?
I don't think I'll ever be able to look at anything Zig related again or with any related characters.
And like what was said, the kid screwed up, but the adults here just cranks it to 11 and I just don't see how any ending can undo how this changes my view of this.

As you saw it, many years ago this part of the story was allready told. Not as detailed as it is here now, but still, she went to the guys home. Met his mom, had sex with her and rubbed it under his nose. And his mom asked where she could get such sextoys. Which also led that Helen Dish became one of ZigZags new porn actress. When puberty set in and she started becoming more shapely, her violent, alcoholic father started raping her (repeatedly, on multiple occasions) during his drunken rampages. But she didn't. Instead, she stayed at home and endured the constant abuse and violation she suffered at the hands of her dad. Know why? So, yeah. Not saying it was morally right for her to go on a vengeance trip, but don't even try to act like it wasn't emotionally justified-- considering the shit she put up with throughout her childhood and adolescence, what she did here was tame. Yeah, I said it. This was fucking tame.

And another thing? This was *not* "revenge sex". Helen initiated the entire thing. Zig Zag just took the reins early on. So don't even try to play that card. If anything, Zig Zag toned down what she was planning to do to Bobby as a result of this little fling with Helen.

She said herself at the beginning that she was just planning to scare him, maybe insult him a little. But after this, she simply decided to tell him exactly what she and his Mom did-- it was a far better revenge than anything she had planned, and the only thing ZZ took advantage of was the situation, *not* Bobby's mother.

Wait, what? You DID read the original comic, didn't you? The reason ZZ is so embarrassed and mumbly to Helen about her plans for Bobby is that she was NOT planning to scare or insult him... before she found out how young he was and met his mother, she was planning to beat him to a bloody pulp. That's what she did to every person on her revenge tour before she got to Bobby's house.

This is obviously a huge retcon of the events in Sabrina Online (possibly because the original single strip was so creepy -- Bobby was obviously a young teen or preteen -- or possibly because EW saw a cash cow in turning it into a full story with a new MILF in his cast), but make no mistake, ZZ's original intent was never benevolent... finding out she was after an underage boy slowed her down only a little bit, and she only really had pangs of conscience when she saw how upset Helen was about a threat to her child.

Clearly, the only one who hasn't read Sabrina-Online is YOU. First off, Zig Zag did NOT beat up every person on her "revenge tour" up until Bobby's house. In fact, there was only one instance where we saw her do that, and it was the LAST guy we saw her track down in the comic (the one who tried to pull the "so what if I said that stuff about you? That's on the internet, and I can say whatever I want without any repercussions" bullshit).

She got poetic justice on the other people we saw in her revenge spree in the comic. Bobby was the second one seen in the revenge spree, and obviously we now know in full detail how THAT one played out.

Like I said before, the only guy Zig Zag got physically violent with was the last guy who didn't even bother acting embarrassed or ashamed when confronted, instead being an unapologetic douche who had the balls to try to defend and even justify his actions.

Furthermore, the original comic never even WENT into this much detail about ZZ's visit to Bobby's house. Also, your attempts to paint Zig Zag as being some impulsive violence-prone bitch are ridiculously skewed. No, she was NOT planning to "beat him to a bloody pulp". From what I've seen, Zig Zag didn't even know for herself what exactly she was going to do to each of the people she tracked down until she actually confronted them face-to-face. There are NO signs of guilt or "oh-shit-I-can't-tell-this-kid's-mom-I-was-gonna-beat-up-her-son" like what you're claiming. ZZ didn't even hesitate to make it clear that she wasn't planning to get violent with Bobby. The 'mumbling' you're referring to only further demonstrates that she didn't even know what she planned to do once she found the kid.

I don't see why there's so much conflict over this simple furry comic. Can't we just enjoy the fact that THE Eric Schwartz decided to make another sexy Zig Zag comic? In this community where artists from the early days of furry art have either stopped drawing comics and turned to paid commissions or multiple incomplete projects with no chance of a new page for months on end, Eric managed to not only make a spin off to his current webcomic, but also a pretty entertaining one at that. Not every piece of art from a single artist is golden. Even if it is, there's some parts that don't shine well.
EWS is no doubt a fantastic artist, and S-O is a critical hit that has lasted long since 96'. However, that's not to say there have been some issues with the continuing series. ABAH just so happens to take place with one of said issues, and I honestly think that's why there's so much conflict over this. Because this spin-off has brought up some old wounds with some fans, including me.
From the looks of things on this thread, a lot of people have beaten me to the punch on how I feel about ABAH. However, I will say this; EWS better make things up to Bobbie. Troll or not, kid doesn't deserve to be on some petty-revenge list.

In general it seems there are more adult and pornographic images in the fandom than non-pornographic. Perhaps it's people feeling the need to free themselves of human inhibitions through their furry OCs. Did you just completely miss were I was mainly talking about the mother and my father's sexual acts and how my father completely fucked my life because of his "I don't care how this effects you" attitude? Like I had said also this was in the stone age of the internet. I didn't even know of FurAffinity back then 11 or so years ago. Hell, you couldn't even get on the internet unless you had a phone line modem hooked up to your computer back then. And I didn't even know of SO back then. An all I knew of Zig back then and mainly still now is one off image gags like this halloween pic or one offs of her make out jokes.

And if you still don't get how deeply I mean my father fucked my life, I was nearly killed by a doctor that i would have never have had to begin with if my father hadn't forced me to have to move out of state. All so he could please his piece of sweet ass. And that's just one of a dozen of fucked up moments in my life that only escalated, all because of my fathers sex life. That's what hurts me so much, because that's what I see in this. It's not funny, and i sure as hell don't see a "health attitude about sex" in this when a parent does something like this with there kid is involved.

That being said I have found out about SO now and have seen the books on sale on amazon. A small part of me that's a lite fan is tempted to by them. But, not if it pulls at the linchpin of my life's biggest fuck you. And just in case if any one's wonder if I ever really talk to him again. Barely ever before he died. He had time to talk to every one else but me before he died. He even had the audacity to ask to get back with my mother like nothing had happen but, still stay married to his other "wife."

Yes, I did see your recounting of your childhood life story. And it doesn't change a damn thing about the point I was making. Know why? Because Bobby is not you. His life is not based on yours. His feelings are not the same as yours. His emotions are not the same as yours. The reason why your entire argument falls apart is because you're acting like Bobby is being subjected to exactly the same shit you claim to have gone through as a kid. Spoiler alert: HE HASN'T. There was no mention of his father treating him like shit, or abusing him, or abusing his mother/treating her like shit. Did he cheat on her? Yes. At this stage, it feels less like you're trying to argue that ZZ used Helen for revenge, and more like you're acting butthurt because your flimsy argument was really just a soapbox for you to whine about your piece-of-shit father, and you're offended that it got treated as an argument about ZZ using Helen and was refuted.

Were the things your father allegedly did to you abhorrent and terrible? Yes. But that doesn't mean the rest of us are obligated to give you asspats and treat the comic like shit just because you got triggered and had PTSD-esque flashbacks over perceived parallels between the comic and your own life.

Okay, lemme see if I get this entire story/igniting of a flame war correct.....

In the Sabrina Online story, Zig Zag, a woman known far and wide for her work in a lot of adult material went on a mission to track down all the people that spoke negatively about her online with her own personal Shit List to boot. She successfully found and (in certain circumstances) humiliated everyone on her list, but in one particular case (being ABAH) all she did was tell a young boy she had lesbian sex with his mother.

If that's the story as it is, what the hell is the issue here? If it's something along the lines of "Zig Zag was so petty going to a teenage boys house because he left a negative comment about her online." or "Zig Zag is a horrible person for saying she munched his mom's carpet and that's like rape in real life.", then by all means piss off. This comic is just a fun side story that the artist wanted to tell about his most popular character getting into another sexual situation, introducing a new character that I'm sure plenty of people have fapped to already and nothing else. Besides, this "situation" that Zigzag happens in the modern day porn industry all the time. A bunch of stuck up pricks complaining about male & female porn stars on a number video platforms for one reason or another, but if approached by these people in real life would probably say, "I was just joking." or "I'm your biggest fan, please let me fuck you.". To me, Zig Zag's story is just an illustration of what some people would do if they had the time and resources to track down people who talk shit about them online and it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life.

MaxBlackRabbit may be the creator and intellectual property owner of Zig Zag, but EWS is the one who really built and fleshed out her character in terms of personality through the S-O comic. Zig Zag the character may belong to MaxBR, but I think it could be argued that Zig Zag the person belongs to EWS.
