The questions that came to mind for me were:

Is it normal for people built like that to stroll around naked and no one notice? no one's even looking at her.

She was starting to masterbate in that one panel... and they were in the middle of a crowded park? So she was just gonna do that in front of everyone?

What are they actually talking about? The one guy, who seems to be a mage, is talking about 'sex ed'... but he's in college. He's also saying he wants to 'learn from someone experienced', but he first turns down the main character for an older woman they both know, then seems to accept her offer later on. Are they going to do 'magic', or are they going to fuck? ...or are the two related or connected in some way in this world?

...I'm pretty confused by it all.

But tl;dr - This is a whole little made up world for the artists character where sex and nudity is pretty much a normal part of everyday life. No one is going to bat an eye at you if you go to work naked or have a quickie with someone while waiting for the bus.

I'm actually reading the comments here for example and... some of them can be considered valid forms of criticisms. Very harsh ones, but still valid to a degree (some big, some small). I won't deny there are some crap posts out there, but those can easily be ignored or reported if they really are just here to cause a shit storm.

SimonAquarius "Page 18, I'm working out when would be the best time to do a format change for the comic, working out the details of what the new style can keep without taking as long to draw as the current pages have been. Last month I tested another drawing method that is definitely faster, but it means everything gets done by the end of the month rather than in two places in the middle and at the end.

Because posting two updates in one day and then having nothing for a month can be jarring, I'll be submitting finished pages once every two weeks. I've got a small buffer set up for now, just a couple pages, but it should be enough to pull this off.

I don't want to make any commitments on what exactly the style and format changes will be, I'm still trying out programs to see what might be possible in a few months and one program I'm interested in is both new and... still rough to use. I'll be sticking with this format for a while yet, at least until I get a good handle on things. If all goes well, we can discuss what should be done in greater detail just in case you guys aren't too happy about what gets changed or what it gets changed to."

Probably an odd time to bring this up, but when I was a kid I was pretty curious. I wanted to know more about how the world worked, because I thought knowing how things really worked would mean being able to predict what would come next in any scenario. Though, by the time you learn enough of one thing, you're already an adult, and often not in a position to do anything with what you now know to make problems better. Kids can tell when rules we follow are stupid, slow, or obfuscating. "I want this, so why can't I have this?" is the simple solution to most problems, yet it's so hard to execute equally.

What you do know is that you can't know everything. In order to master all things in life, you'd need... I don't know how many centuries, just to learn it all, and technology is advancing so fast that by the time you learn just one thing, it's already obsolete, and so is everything else that came out at the same time. Many jobs require re-education now, just to keep up with global standards, even for minimum wage work.

Growing up, I felt that if you could learn everything then you could understand everything, and now I know that's an impossible dream. Aqua embodies my old desire to know what you could not know, to learn everything, and the futility of the quest for all knowledge.

The nice thing about fiction, though, is that you can make the impossible happen for a character. In a way his story arc is some personal wish fulfillment. Nothing new though, I concluded his story back in 2010 without having written what came before, and this story's an attempt to fix that. So, don't look in my galleries or scraps, spoiler warning."
