That's because it's a comic you can actual buy at comic stores and such. It's put out by image, which is a comic company that doesn't make it's artists adhere to normal comic rules so they can do just about anything they want. Just thought I would upload them here for those who didn't know it existed and or can't go out and buy it

Actually, Image only bought the rights for distribution in the USA. The comic is from the Italian publisher Panini, which has divisions around the world, In Mexico we already have it in Hardcover

This book ( first of a trilogy ) is a Mirka Andolfo 's book, and is just hot, not for adult. The facebook of the drawer is https://www.facebook.com/mirkand.works/?fref=photo , and the variant is made by Milo Manara, an italian (he too) drawer calling himself as "an erotic comics creator" (and his comics are just naked womand doing ... "that kind" of thing...high quality of design, the lowest of subject...but he draw before the internet, there was just he doing that with good painting, so here in Italy is very popular...). yes, there's 2 issues out so far. Idk what happened to OP, but I'll post the second one now. They release monthly on the first or second Wednesday of each month. If you enjoy it you should definitely go to your local comic shop and buy a copy when issue 3 drops on September 5th, its only 4 bucks.

I'm guessing the pig and the wolf will start falling in love after their tsundere phase. The evil pig guy will either get killed in a dramatic showdown or will have a change of heart and team up with the gang to bring down his dad or whatever. The little lizard creature will end up being some important plot device. One of the good guys will end up being a traitor or something like that.
If it was a straight up porn comic I'd have less problems with it because it'd be actually interesting to have porn AND plot but as it is it's just mediocre vanilla.

The very first scene in the series is her slobbering on a pillow while she has a dream about fucking a big white wolf. She turned away who she thought was such a perfect guy because of this. I think it's pretty well foreshadowed.

You're casting a wide net here. They're building up drama and conflict, do you want them to end it with an anti-climax? Italian reader here, as someone mentioned above we have a looong history of comics for young adults who have this kind of erotic content.

Lots are influenced by legacy from the works of Milo Manara who sort-of made the comics in italy used to nudity&eros and semi-explicit stuff, but not overhall pornographic (like showing penetration etc...)

Personally i found the ending of the comic a bit rushed, and the plot was clearly too rich of stuff and details. But it's another decent addition to furry-themed comics done here in Italy

Just picked up issue 9 today at the comic shop, its a pretty good one. Definitely the lewdest issue yet. I also didn't see it on the rack, but the store owner knows to pull the issue for me. I'm starting to fail in getting what is the actual point of the story. I mean I get the whole "Love who you want" BS but isn't it clear that same species couples are the only ones that can actually reproduce?

Government intervention seams to make sense when facing the possibility of extinction.

So far all of this seams to be a VERY heavy handed metaphor for interracial couples while having the people be ACTUALLY different species and not just humans with different skin colors.

I talked to the author at comic Con about this. She said any political commentary should be viewed within the context of Italian politics, not America's. According to her, in Italy since it's a parliamentary system you have some "family values" blowhards on the far right with onerous campaign slogans about getting women to "do their duty" and have more children. The politicians saying these things are always male of course. So she was combining that with Italy's history of fascism, which did indeed incentivize having large families so there was a larger pool of cannon fodder.

The decision to make it about furries was because she already had this pig character/fursona and just created the story around that. To her the commentary was really about the authoritarian drive to control sexuality, race wasn't really a focus despite the plethora of different species.
