Have you looked at the Patreon? He's decided to lock batches of pages behind paywalls. Last one was at $210 per month. He's not planning on working on the next set of pages until he breaks $280 per month. I think he's expecting to get $550 a month before he finishes the comic.

Given he's claimed to be working on both this and the non-porn comic it's based on at the same time, I'm guessing patreons will dry up before it's finished and he'll just go back to working on the main comic.

I wasn't expecting him to be asking for gobs of money so soon despite such terrible artwork.

hm I'm not a patreaon supporter of him I couldn't find any information about this but you said he will work on more pages after he gets after the mark of 280$ ah I see it is not that this one page costs 210$ or 280$ etc. you could better say he will work on for example (maybe 3 or 5) more pages for this comic additianlly to all the stuff he does already after that mark ...

makes more sense ... still I think it is not the best way to try to get more supporters

right now he has 32 patrons and gets $268 per month
aprox. 12$ per person
so they get other bonus stuff from him depending on the tier
hm I think if you like what you get it is not that overpriced.

Still I thing he would get more support if he would make more lets say free NSFW work in the first place in the end sex sells but hey he can do what he want I'm not judging

Not all artists are nsfw artists. As you prolly know. Before I go further, imma just say I'm not here to bust anyone's "balls" or such. I just know a bit more about his story. He's more of the rare types who like more age artwork in comics. He believes in romance and story line not just sex. I realize that sex is one of the main reasons everyone's here, etc. but I'll give a few examples. I don't know if anyone knows twokinds, but they don't make the main comic sexual. He does have off comic nsfw pieces as does twokinds artist, but just not as much. But you were right in the updates part. Depending on the total support each month determines how much he publishes. I am going to be a patreon. He is living in a... "tough" situation right now to say the least. He relies heavily upon these supports to continue until he can get himself back on track. He's doing everything he can to do that. But he does give out updates at least 5 times a month. Roughly about one Or two per week. Or so. Just to let you know, his finished art pieces are free to view on his patreon. Basically the WIP is what he has locked. But I can vouch for his situation. We've all had tough times before.

if my maths is correct the first page of this comic was posted roughly 11ish months ago its been pulling in min 300 a month for the first couple of month then it was hanging around 400/450 a month for a while and near the end it was pulling right around 480-500 a month for about the last 3 months. this comic has pulled like 8-9k+. over 8k for a black and white comic drawn in a style that doesnt seem that dificult in comparison to other comics or general art posts that pull in that much a month and this was planned to be up to 40 pages and he flaked out at page 34. over 8k and he couldnt even be bothered to finish the comic cus he felt like he wasnt getting enough for this comic that he said he was doing for FREE. this comic was hardly done for free

In my adult life I have lived in San Diego, Seattle and now Dallas. I'm not going to lie, its nice living here in Dallas. I dont drive down the highway and see endless tent cities as I had grown accustomed to seeing in Seattle and San Diego. I no longer worry about my car being broken into 5 times a year. Streets are CLEAN here, not filled with piss bottles and plastic bags. The only downside is the seafood sucks.

Anyway, I can get good seafood where I live. But admittedly it was always better whenever I visited the coast. The very air there makes it taste so much better. The last time I was there I had the best clam chowder of my life. All I wanted to do was dip bread in it like fondue. I even shared it with my sister and nephews and they all loved it. I met Jacky back when I first started drawing porn. Hi btw, I'm Sabro. Anyways, Jacky was always unstable. He hated "popfurs" and have routinely self sabotaged his relationships with peers and ended up alienating themselves from everyone in the group.

One time a friend linked Butters from south park with his fist in the air, wiener out in protest and Jacky lost their shit. They were pissed that there was no trigger warning and demanded an apology. Whole situation was annoying but we looked past it.

Next time we're together we're hanging out in a stream and I put on a documentary Jacky recommended about the wolves of yellow stone park.
Interesting documentary for sure, but the whole time Jacky was commenting about how "sexy" the main wolf of the documentary was and how he liked the "yiffing" in the documentary. ( there was mating footage here and there) Shit was weird.

Final straw was him freaking out on me because I didn't agree with him that Frisky Ferals should have had a trigger warning. One of the comics is about a mom dragon fucking her adult son dragon and this deeply upset Jacky. I still don't get what he wanted from the artist but he despised the creator of Frisky Ferals. He ended up telling me that he might tolerate "popfurs" but he'll never defend them because they're the reason the fandom is as sexual deviant as it is.

Dude has always been bitter, his pissed that his shitty comics don't get the attention he thinks they deserve, but he never puts the work in to get better.

He got buttmad at anyone who had better skill in art in his own channel.
