It'd be really funny if Jay drew a comic showing Sissy actually being jealous of Elizabeth because she can't even get Fisk to look at her. I remember in one of the Original Life pages Elizabeth thought about what it'd be like to have a pool and mentally pictured Sissy eying her husband. This comic is most Naylor-isc comic I have ever seen at it's worst.

Great artwork that's completely eclipsed by his inability to understand the concept of subtlety.

I can see this being more funnier if the dialogue and interaction weren't as deft as a brick to the face and if they were talking via chatsite with Marley steadily showing him pics of what he's been jerking off to rather than just expositing all it in person. Which would eventually leading to her even fingerbanging herself while he's texting her all this amongst the pics sent to her. In the end with her ditching him in favor of said fantasy of everything he's wanting.

I wished he'd just stick with getting better writers to handle the dialogue. Whenever that happens, it usually tends to work out alot better. Or no dialogue and does waaaay better as a result.

Because he has talent when it comes to art. Most of the time, he's exceptional when it comes to creating visual art. He's also really good at creating fantasy worlds. He made several of them that were pretty awesome. But never seemed to have done anything with it and tossed it aside soon after.

But most of the time, his work suffers from the texts and dialogue he forces into it. It's like he's never made any human contact in his entire life. It's stilted, awkward, and completely misplaced with the characters he shoehorns his dialogue into and I emphasis the phrase "his dialogue".


Usually whenever his comics have little to no dialogue, they're much more palatable and engaging. Some of his slightly past works showed that.

The golden rule to art, is show, don't tell. Especially when it comes to visual art.

We want him to succeed and do better because he can.
