Not sure if I can stand another Helen Dish deal. Lately, when shes into something, or someone, it just seems like more mental torture for her son, which is just as unbearable to watch as batgirl titfucking the hobo.

Considering the hood... I'm going on a wild bet and say that most of the comic is she fantasizing about Night Terror, and turns out he is gay.

(The hood is weirdly similar to Hooded Justice, a hero in the watchmen series that was revealed to be gay, and killed by the comedian.)

It's almost as if a short amount of time passed in the comic as opposed to the years it took for Eric to complete it, and any character development is stretched out to accomodate that timeframe, and Endora's evolution on her species-ist thinking is part and parcel of that stretched-out development.

Imagine that~.

Also it's not that weird for him to have made Endora that way. Lots of older people in real life have harbored racist attitudes that slowly changed when someone from a different race became part of the family. If anything, Endora being a racist...specieist...bigot, let's go with that - if anything, Endora being a bigot and slowly changing her attitudes in that regard is more realistic than if she had done a complete 180 and stopped being a bigot right after Sabrina got married.

Anyway this discussion has gone on long enough for this thread, so someone post some Endora smut or something while we wait for the next Chiropterana page.

Still a waste of time and should've never been plot related to begin with. And believe it or not, many oldies don't always change even when something they were a bigot to joins the family. She only "changed" when Sabs birth a hybrid, a thing I doubt will always work with some people as well. I'll change my tune when I see some real development (or for her to not show up as often in the comic anymore. I don't care which one).

Good luck with that. He only updates these comics twice a month and that usually around the middle and end of each month. You better find some other Patreon related comic to read while waiting for this to update again.

Maybe not every superhero knows every other superhero's civilian identity, but it's not an uncommon thing. The Avengers and the Justice League all have multiple examples of their members knowing each other's real identities. The MCU basically ran with the idea that none of the Avengers even have "secret" identities until Spider-Man swung in. And the Justice League animated series made clear that Amanda Waller, an agent of the American government, knew the true identity of Batman at a bare minimum - and she wasn't afraid to tell him as much.

i think its more so the fact that the character isnt fleshed out and just kinda boring and the dude involved is just generic no personality super hero fantasy so I kind of agree. Didn't really learn anything about Bobbie in the last comic so this one is just kinda bland, although I'm just waiting for it to be finished to decide whether or not I really dont care for it, personally.

I remember reading a post somewhere a few years back that worked out how long it might take investigators to figure out the identity of The Batman if they put in the effort. The gist of it was, it would take seasoned professional investigators about a month to find and collect evidence of Batman's existence, then trace it back to Bruce Wayne.

I don't recall that post bringing up how anyone with a working sense of logic could deduce that Batman, being someone with access to the amount and types of hardware that he does, must have the resources to afford all of it. Clear literally 99% of Gotham City as suspects and you're left with a small group of people that includes Bruce Wayne. Wouldn't be too hard to figure it out from there, especially since The Batman only showed up after Bruce returned to Gotham.

to be fair its likely more logical that batman is funded by a wealthy organization as opposed to being wealthy individual themself. Tracing to Waynecorp or one of the other megacorps located in Gothem makes more sense than tracing to Wayne.

Also in universe there are many counter examples of heroes/vigilanties and villains with similar levels of equipment who dont have access to multi-million/billions of dollars.
