Guys about the post I made earlier: >>1932104
I really appreciate your thoughts on this issue, I really do, but I think if we discuss this further, the thread might become very messy and cluttered, lets just all enjoy the comic in peace for now ok?
To end this discussion, I think the important takeaway from this issue is that; yes, there are laws that provides leverage and protection for both genders. But because of how society works and men are seen as masculine and assertive, etc., which obviously does not apply to all men out there. Our society's double standard prevents these laws from being implemented for both genders with equal benefits; not to mention a research study that I found online states that men are more likely to keep this horrible experiences to themselves and withdraw on seeking help since society thinks of it as taboo and the man is deemed weak. And most importantly, women have more creative methods of tricking/blackmailing a man to do sex (such as false pregnancy blackmail, pretending that she is being raped through intentional bruising, recording the act that favors the oppressor, sperm thieving, holding him at gunpoint, other forms of torture, etc.)
Therefore all this internal and external issues of the society and ourselves prevents these laws stated from being implemented evenly on both genders.
I hope this is sufficient enough to conclude this topic; let's put this on hold for now and enjoy this intriguing comic that he has made. Peace!
