The art in this comic is great but the writing is terrible, and I hate the male character's design. As >>1932681 said it looks like he's wearing a fuckin' toupee. Also, a fat guy wearing a shirt during sex is kind of like wearing a shirt in the pool-- in trying to guard your insecurity about your body, you only embarrass yourself further.
I think the reason why the writing seems so bizarre is because of the fact that you had a female artist who wants to follow romance novel cliches about abusers and saviors, and you have a male writer, who, let's be honest, is probably a fat fuck "nice guy" IRL, and wants to project his own insecurities into the male character, who is fat, but has women throwing themselves at him even though he doesn't want sex (whereas in real life for nice guys, the opposite is true, with women being turned off by them because they are super thirsty, physically unimpressive, and can't hide their insecurities).
I apologize if this sounds overly harsh especially not knowing either Iskra or Deymos personally or having interactive with either of them, but some things are so poorly written that it invites the audience to pathologize it. When the reader is immersed and invested none of the little mistakes matter, but once the illusion is broken every problem becomes glaring.
