The thing is, is I'm also an artist, so I know what the fuck I'm talking about.

Here's a quick clean up of the image. i only did Judy, not the BG characters, and only cleaned up the line work, not the shading.

It's not "soft shading" it's lazy linework.

Yeah this is really nitpicky everyone has a preference for how the like to draw Certain things some people like really clean line work some like more rough or soft or sloppy because of the look it gives that dissent make them any less as good as the others it’s preference feels like you just wanna attack em because they didn’t do it the way you like

Hi, actual artist here (I work for Nintendo and also drew the mona Lisa, you might have heard of it?) Anyway I think you're getting hung up on the soft lines, your version sort of wipes out any of the positives that the original had, you remove all the areas where it fades out for example and is blended into the actual rendering, for example around her raised calf muscle.

Thick lines are often considered somewhat lazy and unprofessional but making thick soft lines into thick hard lines is not an improvement I personally feel, it could do with some sharper rendering in some places though, I don't understand why the artist put so little definition into her face, yeah the pussy is obviously gonna be the focus point but the face should be a secondary area that is defined to a decent level, I just added some more contrast I guess to the rendering, I think something like this would benefit the art more than messing with the lines.

since this was bumped anyway, i was going to ask if the artist name was misspelled or something, because i cant see a signature anywhere, and there is not a single anything on any imageboards with this name. on e621 i even checked that they arent even in the 'avoid posting' list. and then i searched the interweb and they do have pixiv and patreon with this name, so what the fuck?
