gotta say the character design is the best ive seen in years, the 4 ears is strange but functional in a very satisfying way,
and the coloring really impressive its like she really is radiating light of the page

Neither of those make any sense, since the extra ears extend off of the jawbone. There's no point or purpose to them, since they can't hear anything, because there can't be no ear canal or cochlea connected.

She is some sort of light guide being thing, it might be a completely different structure that has nothing to do with cochlea or auditory sense, maybe its some 4th dimension kind of thing where she can sense imperceptible stuff that normal beings can't. The can see special properties of all the objects around her, right?

Those "ears" could maybe have some sort of unique novel structure behind the jaw in the throat/underjaw that assists in that perception of those "magical qualities" of the world around her, and have unique neural connections to her brain that route back and to the base of the spine.

Well if you were a being of light and had normal vision, you'd want to close your eyes now and then too, if only to shield against your own sheer brilliance. She smiles a lot though. Genuine smiles push your cheeks up and give your lower eyelid a bit of a push further up your eye. If you're one of those sorts who "smiles with their eyes", you generally close your eyes while smiling to demonstrate your genuine happiness. This is the explanation behind anime characters and the ^.^ emoticon. Don't see many people who do this anymore (biologically, rather than in text or digital media), possibly more to do with our modern dystopia than anything else...

Looking at some side profile pictures (frames in the first page, even) they're below and slightly behind her normal ears. From experience, I know there are blood vessels and glands below human ears behind the jaw bone, some of which are vestigial and can be surgically removed. There's no reason a second set of hearing organs couldn't be fully functional with a little rerouting.

I'm more disturbed that a second set of ears is the thing you're fixated on and not the bio-luminescent fur that puts D&D torches to shame (10 feet of bright light and a further 10 feet of dim light), or the fact that her neck scruff and mid/lower tail fur closely resembles feathers.
