So, Trixie and Ty did end up breaking up after he got Beth pregnant many comics ago. It's funny how she never took into consideration that he might've gotten dozens of women knocked up while being in an open relationship, but when he starts having sex with her best friend, she thinks they should split. She was genuinely hurt and Ty comes off as an asshole and not the kinda guy who'll put a ring on it, not even trying to tell Trixie not to go. Not to mention the fact that he immediately has sex with Zoe after Trixie leaves town makes him look like a total scumbag.

since we know now it's Florida aggravated battery on a police officer is a felony with 5 years minimum but fortunately for her there are no enhancements based on the officer's sex appeal I guess because asking a judge or jury to decide whether a cop is hot or not goes too far even for Florida or maybe to not offend ugly cops

then there's the public indecency charge which is a misdemeanor with a maximum 1 year

It showed uncensored savagery, the loneliness of a female who was the last of her tribe, and the kindness of one human that saved her life. While the first part is relatively new. The themes of the second half of the story, after she gets brought home by the old guy follow a pretty similar story pattern to a beth story called, 'Her Type.'

It even has an older dominant male type chillin' back; waiting for the other's arrival.
I could just be pulling similarities, but young girls lusting over older men is a pretty common trope in Naylor's writing.

That aside, this is likely where this character will likely canonically land. Instead of her being hovering in the air to whatever extent. At least, that's my prediction of her. Before he moves onto whatever next generation he wants to toy with.

The way I see it, Trixie is undoubtedly gonna succumb to getting pregnant at some point. Naylor kept her baby free for years now and only now after the event of Beth getting knocked up by her boyfriend does she start experiencing developments. The comic has shown how comfortable Trixie got with her life on the Nudist Colony and came to the realization that things are not so easy going outside her bubble. She does not want to go back to Ty feeling uncomfortable about their open relationship after Beth and she cannot drown her feelings with alcohol. Sex is still a constant for her (like most Naylor characters) and spending some down time with a decent guy, even if it is someone like this old man could be good for her. I dont know if Naylor plans to make her mother right away, but I canâ€™t pretend its not gonna happen to give her story some closure.
