TL:DR: Comic needs context to justify that awkwardness. It's forced gender role / sissification kink. White mouse thing regards itself as mentally male, but society enforced female role on it. MC is part of an endangered group, so transition is illegal and breeding is mandatory. Birth control also not allowed.

Compensation for breeding is offered, so MC's family is a bit of a mess. Often portrayed as pushing MC into sexual situations before MC is ready.
