Problem is most of the cheap properties are. Have you ever seen the average Council Property provided by British Councils? Most of them where built in the 1950's. The one I'm living in right now was built in 1949 and the only changes to it structurally have been replacement carpets and 2 new gas boilers. It doesn't even have insulation lol

Better than newer properties though given newer properties are being built with half the floor space for twice the rent lol

I live in the US, and don't really know anything about councils. But this comic seems like it takes place in the furry equivalent of the US since the cars are left hand drive. But icf housing authorities were called in on a building like that in the US, the landlord would be fined and forced to bring the building up to code

It is probably easiest to get noticed in niche spaces. If your art is mid, any kind of attention you can get is motivation not to quit and it can get you trapped in a content loop.

JH is a much better artist now then he was when he started and maybe now he is feeling confident enough to branch out from the "egg" that was being a gay vore artist. Could also be his person life. Maybe he's had a lot more experience with his bisexuality and love in the last couple years.

It's not that the technology is cheap - it's simply funded through other means.

Kinda like how Sony and Microsoft sell games consoles at a loss, and then take the loss back on the price of games. Services like Alexa are used to farm the people for data which can then be sold to corporations that advertise to the same people, and also sell them the ad space.
