^It's nice to see I'm not alone in thinking this. Don't get me wrong I love Joa's stuff too, but it's beginning to be a bit much :L I love me some shortstacks/ thicc girls but.. to a point.

What gets me is a lot of some of my favorite artists have going this route: devolving to the point where it's either a couple or a single fetish with almost every post, or hitting the right notes to absurd levels.

I think the reason why Joao's art has become like this so regularly is because he's just been taking a lot of inspiration from other popular pornographic artists he follows, but doesn't seem to think very hard on how these fetishes have been affecting his character designs and anatomy. Makes me really miss his old Tiny Toon Adventures-esque "cartoonime" style since it felt more consistent and less inflated in body proportions.

Don't get me wrong, I like this artist a lot. And his hyper thing, when done just right, is pretty awesome. But this...

yeah, i think the hyper stuff really started with futa gwen and it increased from there. The hyper stuff isnt really all that good, Sueil is would say is a good base line due to her overall size, but other than that it doesnt really do anything for me. Its also really telling that Joao made a specific hyper character in the form of a tanuki and most other new characters he introduces are also hyper centered as well.

Gwen wasn't even the first time Joao drew intersex/hyper art. If you look up his art through e621 he started doing it back then before he got became a digital artists on notebook paper during a time where he experimented with NSFW art. He use to do it occasionally, but I guess a few years ago got more into it possibly thanks to however many porn artists he follows and got to comfortable with it that it's now just a habit. I don't hate, hell I loved it a lot more back then, but over the years it started to feel almost too exaggerated for it to be alluring to me as much as it use to.
