It is a novice russian artist that has nearly no audience. I am almost her only commissioner and she is glad I've came to her with something this huge.

Page 4 is at the sketching state. Already almost completely re-drawn from previous sketch version, but I am still not 100% happy with it.

How so? The nose bridge is wide because they're meant to fit on something with a snout and I assume they left out the ear pieces because it would just look awkward with her facial structure.

It looks like the frame is thick on top and has a thin border on either side of the lens which is not uncommon irl.

Probably her handcuffs will be used on her, and then security uniform gonna get ripped a bit.

Though needs to be said - neck licking sounds like an interesting idea. I generally like licking, biting, chewing and stuff like that.

To establish it properly, you would add a mix of an opacity decrease/blur effect to what they're showing as a movement of the arm.

The more significant issue, is to make it not come across as out of place, to the rest of the comic/art design

If your intention is to depict blurred-based movement, the final limb you leave on won't be blurred. Second, don't over-blur to the point that it's smudged, just a small bit to demonstrate an after-image of sorts.

You'll be relying more on opacity reduction instead.

the point of blur is to show the movement made that is too fast to be depicted in separate frames, whether in animation or comics.
you can test it yourself in you wave your hand in front of you, how it looks like in real life. if you record with a really high framerated camera, you wont get blur at all, because the camera can capture every part of the movement in separate frames. blurred movement is just the easier and more human-eyed representation of those frames.
which means drawing only the starting and ending frames is not enough at all, at least a middle frame should be drawn, but the easiest would be to not even draw the separate states and just draw motion lines or smudge-tool the path backwards from the last state.

probably that nothing really changed and its still just the first and last frames with nothing indicating a movement between them. if this was an animation, those would be the keyframes, and the inbetweens would still have to be made.

Yeah there's a vast difference here especially with the improvement to the way she looks.

The bend overlook and the fear in her eyes really sell the story here better than the other one did.

The first one made it look like she was a zombie almost, or a robot

She's just looks a bit tired because... because yes, what happened to her might get tiring a bit.

I've originally didn't want to end comic here, I've planned maybe 3-5 more pages, but...
Eventually both me and artist got tired of working on it, and just wanted to get it done, to clear space for other characters and commissions.

I have thoughts on how I would continue it. However, I don't think I would actually commission a sequel. Especially now, where Tidko have changed her fursona to nightstalker. And, well, we also kinda broke up with her recently. And this artist charges like 2 times more than at the beginning of this comic commission.

Though I must say, comic commissioning is nice. Would like to commission something comic-like within my D&D setting, with my other OCs.

Also sequel would be about Tidko seeking for mental help. On one hand, what happened to her is something people want to talk with a psychotherapist about. On the other... she kinda liked it, which is a therapy topic on it's own.
She must have had rough childhood, eh?

Since I am myself have graduated from university as a psychologist, it's quite an interesting topic for me to express in a comic. Maybe with a therapist character, who likes to break code of ethics for therapists from time to time, if you know what I mean.

But at the same time - reasons above, and my feel that it won't be as interesting for anyone except for myself.
