I think we can all agree that Naylor has some pretty twisted views on his characters' lives. Took him nearly 20 years to unfuck what he did to Beth. And all it took was her getting pregnant by a man ten years her junior. Because babies solve everything apparently. Meanwhile Beth's sister went through what, three marriages? Beth's ex Aron ended up in a nudist colony where women are milking him dry. He was fully willing to marry Beth and start a family. And she held him back. And now he's emotionally ruined. Persia seemed like she had a great marriage. And then Jay had to go and do that comic with her cucking her husband. At this point I could care less about what Fisk does for a living. Black Ops aren't exactly legal, and at times even paramilitary. But it's still government controlled. Fisk was recruited right out of the military. Which means who he works for is directly connected to the government. I never blamed Fisk for taking down those guys who kidnapped Persia. They had it coming. Anyone who does that to people do. And at least Fisk didn't try to pursue a sexual relationship with his sister into adulthood. They only did it once, and then moved on with their lives. She married a great guy. And currently isn't screwed up like so many other characters in the naylorverse.
At this point, I'm happy for the change of pace with Francis having a good relationship with Alicia, and not fucking his gremlin sister despite her constant attempts. If anything, it's the most interesting dynamic Jay has created in years. Francine and her friends feel like they're basically on the verge of strapping Francis down and having their way with him.
Also, Naylor has made more milf content as of late. Which was also a good change of pace. He used to avoid drawing thicc. Even with mature women. But now he's done more of it, and it's not bad. Artisically speaking.
All that said, I wish he'd make more comics like Enemy, which used little dialogue, and mostly just physical action to tell the story.
