I get the basic premise of this comic. But making Sonic a douche to Sally was kinda pushing it, and borderline irrelevant. I'm reminded of a fanfiction writer I met years ago with a Miles Prower obsession. And he kept wanting to make Sonic a toxic douche just to make it easier to pair Tails with Sally. This feels too much like that. The brooding goth fuel of Shadow winning in the end simply by waiting it out as the girl comes to him. Even when he loses is and destroys an apartment building. And Rouge both breaking up with Knuckles and then fucking Shadow right after feels even more forced. And then she shared her memories with him somehow, which made no sense and changed both of them. Making Shadow Calmer, but Rouge somehow more motherly. The only thing I found interesting was the bonus bit at the end where Shadow thinks babies are made in space colonies.
