I don't think anyone's disagreeing that it looks better, but it might be disappointing to see someone creative just re-touch old work instead of making something new. And if later installments of a comic look better than the early ones, that means that the artist is improving. Why spend effort to hide that?

'Monday' was more sketchy-like in lineart style. while Tuesday was already in this more 'clean' lineart the latest chapters had, so I don't think he'll redo Tuesdays aswell (unless he wants to redo it aswell just to keep consistent with the style he went with Wednesday-forwards and for his other works after that)

I don't mind returning to the simpler story.
The 'lore' and everything is fine, but I do feel like it's gotten lost in itself to some extent. The author did admit to re-cons and doing some things differently then planned. "Monday" was just a one off fling for fun.

I think its quite clear they're about 16 or so, Seb is smaller in stature to Keith and not "filled out" like you do when you're 18 plus.

16 is the age of consent in Canada anyway so thy're's no foul play.

Pretty sure Monday started long before Substar was a thing, unless my mind is blurry over when this all started. Plus, unless things have changed recently at the behest of the credit gods, Substar really doesn't care about incest and/or barely-legal teen sex. Patreon are the ones who have a problem with that stuff. Personally, I don't get why BK never tried to promote the story thru Substar when it launched.

All depends on where you live, actually. You'd have to live in a rather strict city or county that's known to crackdown on specific forms of drawn content. Otherwise, it should be open season. In BK's case, I think it all boils down to Patreon's payment partners throwing a fit over the content being made by csrtain artists so BK had to adjust.

But more importantly because at some point somebody pointed out to BK that his native Canada is not the US...
It's one of those a rather strict countries where drawing underage characters in porn is not only frowned upon it is considered the production of child abuse material. An excellent way to wind up on the Canadian sex offender registry.

More than likely they started as under 18. Because they and their classmates don't look like adults. I've actually seen plenty of art with characters that were clearly not 18, but then the artist just captions that they are 18 and it's fine. This was especially prevalent with Sonic The Hedgehog art for a long time. Becaise you'd be hard pressed to find a main Hero character from the genre that's over 18. Cream the Rabbit (6 years old), Tails (8 years old), Amy Rose (12 years old by mentally 8), Sonic the Hedgehog (15 years old), Knuckles the Echidna (16 years old), Rouge The Bat (was floated between 17 and 18 years old in varying media until they settled on 18. Likely because she looks and acts more mature). Then there's Tails love interest from Sonic Boom, Zooie the fox. She was originally 12, but they retconned her to 8, even though she's clearly older and taller than Tails. But I guess they didn't want the stereotype of Tails only being attracted to girls that are older than him. At least in the Archie Sonic timeline, charcters aged. Either way, most Sonic hero characters are between the ages of 12 to 17. So the twins in this comic that clearly don't look 18, but are labeled as such, is clearly just done so to satisfy paid for content. Also, the twins were not the only ones in their class seen naked in the comic. So was the sheep girl, and a classmate of their who's nude picture was shown on a phone. I can't remember if their were others. But Black-Kitten would have to say everyone in the class is 18 or older. When I graduated high school, all seniors were all a mix of the ages 17, 18, and 19. If anything, this comic would have started off much better and more age clear if the twins were in college.

They started under 18 because the comic was originally a commission. But I don't remember why, but at some point the commissioner and original writer "jumped ship" but BK wanted to continue the series;

That's why the series felt like it got a "retcon" midway through it: it's literally two different writers with different ideas of how the series should happen. And now he's redoing Mondays not only to make the art style fit the rest of the series, but also the writing aswell

Seriously? Who'd want to read that? Keith is a miserable and unsympathetic character and what we saw of Bethany doesn't really paint her as very likable either.

He basically never got over his ex, she didn't realize that until she got pregnant, they were constantly fighting to the point it took them 5 years after their children were born just to get married, and then the car-wreck happened.
I like my adult comics to have some drama and an engaging storyline, but this looks like just soap-opera tier melodrama that no amount of kinky cat/zebra sex can save...

I think the problem is that these "dissappearance" lines were written before the authors themselves had any clear idea of the reasons for Mum's absence from the family.
Before they definitely decided to go with the "death in a car crash" cliché, an average reader, judging only from those Serah's remarks and her general attitude, might even have assumed that Mum had abandoned the family, for the reasons a bit... darker.

But then, the authors decided to play it a bit safer and went with the scenario as we know it, thus automatically rendering the earlier "dissappearance" lines nonsensical.

The so-called "car accident" was no accident. Jayden is secretly a follower of the old ones and the mother found out about it. So Jayden through the use of dark magics took control of the truck driver and purposefully plowed it into the family car. Her whole reason for reuniting with Keith is to usher in the return of the old ones through their future child which will be sacrificed upon the dread altar.

It's not just that. People who previously have attempted to colour this comic have made a number of mistakes. For starters, they've used colours that are too vivid, making the contrasts too strong. The browns have been too dark, simply cancelling out the linework and making an ugly overall effect. And don't get me started about the shading.

If the comic is primarily line-based, like Mornings, you'll want to keep the colours tame. If the lines are good, they are already there to give a sense of three-dimensionality, movement, even to suggest colour; if you want to enhance something like that by adding colour, you have to be moderate.

Now, if I may suggest an example of fairly good colouring that I've found on Inkbunny. Sadly, it's just this one page.
