Al has had questionable morals. Like going for a married woman 12 years his senior, and got her to sleep with him by acting sad and unhappy. But she went along with it too, and was even flirting with him before he was done with high school.

And Agatha rolled with the relationship until she only had the option to either leave her marriage, or break up with Al. So it makes you wonder, did she ever have any intent on a real relationship, or just a fling to vent her sexual frustrations nd feel young again because of having a dead marriage with a husband and child we never see. Though said husband may have just walked in the bar.

And after Agatha, Al tried to just live a normal, albeit antisocial life. Then tried to have a normal relationship with Richard. Only SURPRISE, he's got a girlfriend. And then the whole thing went poly. And then he got dominant, and became an incubus nympho capable of giving more than he got. Arguably speaking, the people around Al have dragged him into this life. But at least he has the sense not to drink alcohol when depressed.

I actually did something similar thing with some Turkish guys at an restaurant.
