>1459688 The last 86 pages didn't go over my head, but I think my response went over yours. >It didn't take less than five minutes, the characters didn't remain unchanged, and things didn't go back to normal. 86 pages didn't take 5 minutes. I never said this. What I said took "5 minutes", was what appears to be a short and sweet resolution. There's a difference between discussing and going over a fight. His dream and pointless talk with his father as well as his friends talking amongst themselves in the purple void was going over what happened, and analyzing possible solutions, but not actually solving the problem. What has taken five minutes is what so far appears to be the resolution between Ragdoll and Angie in the last page we've seen, which as of writing is the most recent page. >Since the original fight with Angie we had... Yeah, I said the same thing. It's too early to tell if everything has gone back to normal, but I suspect it will, given how quick Angie is to forgive him. We haven't seen what's been going on in her mind or life after the fact, so what happened with her is left to pure speculation alone. Let's be generous and say that exactly 24 hours (in their timeline) have passed since Angie first found the phone and the current page. I can't say I'm sold on how quick she is to forgive him, seemingly not the least bit irritated anymore and rather happy to see him. Feels like she gave up the grudge rather quickly, given how distraught she was prior. Again, we haven't seen her side of what happened afterwards, but that doesn't quite sit right; not to me anyway. She must either have a heart of gold or someone said something to change her mind.
>the characters didn't remain unchanged, and things didn't go back to normal. It's too early to tell one way or the other, but if everyone goes back to normal (normal being how they behaved prior to the incident), then the last 86 pages meant nothing. Change doesn't have to be huge, but if the bird girl (whose name evades me currently) is still in the picture after the dust has settled (which at this point I'd argue that it hasn't yet), then it for sure meant absolutely nothing. Only time will tell, but I suspect nothing too earth shattering, so to speak, will occur. In my eyes, the best way to continue from here is for Ragdoll to forget of the bird girl's existence in its entirety, then for Ragdoll to say something to Angie, whose effect can be summed up as "I'm sorry for what happened, but I'm not ready for a relationship at this point". Ragdoll and 'gatorgirl' ought to remain friends, but that's what I see as a fitting resolution that wouldn't make the last 86 pages worth nothing and meaningless. Not everything has a happy ending, after all.
