I'm not very familiar with traditional Chinese, given that I was raised on simplified Chinese, and also many symbols here are just compacted to the point of basically some black blots, but I'll just share my understanding of the story.
There's a belief that if there are any insects(in this case, a moth) spotted roaming at a Chinese funeral/wake(not quite clear myself), it could be the spirit of the deceased visiting.
White(technically "Xiao Bai(small white/little white)", but for convenience sake it'll just be "White") was supposedly attending his cousin's funeral, but when he gets up to chase the moth he spotted, thinking it was the spirit of his cousin, it turns out he was lured by the moth demon's illusion, and is actually in his lair. After feeling faint, White recollects himself and sees his cousin in front of him. Knowing that it was just a trick, he tries to refuse, but is told by the moth demon that it wasn't an illusion made by him, but what he sees is what he desires the most(effects of inhaling the moth's dust). and then he loses to desire and they fuck
After White loses consciousness, the moth demon is happy, but not satisfied enough. As he plots what to do next, he is attacked by a beetle, which turns out to be the actual embodiment of the cousin's spirit. He makes a deal with the demon, the demon agrees, White is released and discovered by a search and rescue team. The deal was that in exchange for White's freedom, cousin's spirit helps the demon lure in new prey to fuck instead.
(overall i'd say my summary is about 80-90% correct, but again, details may not be accurate because i have little knowledge of traditional chinese, and i'm unclear of chinese traditions in general)
