all the ass kissers ignoring the fact that cobalt disappeared for like 6+ months and barely held a presence these last 6. Nobody can stop him from dropping the comic if he chooses to like how nobody can stop people from complaining about the threat of the comic being dropped. Cobalt has always been pretty inconsistent when it comes to posting so it wouldn't be a surprise if he just upped and disappeared again without a word. I have really liked this comic, love oral, but the climax here does not pay off for the pages and pages of teasing. Since you feel the general discussion zone is exceedingly hostile for cub enthusiasts I believe the creation of your own discussion "safe space" is the best route to take, maybe slap on a couple of extra page ad banners to pay for the addition. I saw Chatin mention recently site suggestions have the best chance of being seen in their chan disc0rd. I would suggest one of you enthusiasts going there to pass that idea along, I don't want to or see the need to do that myself.

Do you agree? Disagree? I suggest making four sub /ds for the basement so as to not give the image of preferential treatment or to imply I feel it's appropriate to lump gore and ponies and feral in with cub as if it's all the same.

The problem with Cobalt and Pickleman is that they go many month's at a time without any updates. I mean Pickles is on Twitter a good deal, and hasn't given any indication of being done with the comic or art in general. I don't know about Cobalt's situation, but I'm not left with the feeling that Pickles is ever on the verge of dropping everything. Even when they went through their own "I wanna be a youtuber too!" phase, they were still putting out an okay trickle of some sort of art. Plus they have a tendency to hoard and then dump new content.

I definitely get where you're coming from though. If you're just looking at updates through sites like this, inkbunny or e621, it can definitely look like a lot of these artists just vanish from time to time. Sometimes you don't even notice, but for niche stuff like cub art it can definitely suck more.

What are you talking about? Is Pickleman posting new pages on Twitter that he hasn't posted on inkbunny? Because if he has then you have a point but if he hasn't then you don't. Making unrelated twitter posts is not evidence that the comic isn't dead. Just because an artist doesn't officially announce that a comic is dead doesn't make it any less dead. A new page, even an unfinished/uncolored one, is an update. Random, unrelated twitter posting is not an update. If an artist fails to update a comic in over a year then people are justified to think it's dead.

Don't get me wrong, I really wish both of these comics weren't dead. But random twitter posting doesn't make them any less dead and I don't see the point of what you are saying.

Going page by page usually means that 1) they get people on their case about where they want/think the story is going to go, and 2) people getting on their case wanting to know when the next page is going to go up, and throwing tantrums about abandoned comics if it's been more than a week.

You're just now starting to get that feeling? It's been just about over a year since the last WIP for the second comic was released. Plus, it doesn't seem like CobaltSnow cares all that much about the comic considering there isn't much of mention of it on CobaltSnow's Twitter or InkBunny. I think it's safe to suggest that Spin The Bottle 2 is dead at this point. It is a sad to see this happen, though. First Mister Pickleman's Sleepover comic and now this one. Oh well.

He almost exclusively draws of the Spin the Bottle characters for a while though, at least going by e621 posts. Maybe he is just that much of a perfectionist, maybe the new comic will be hyper-realistic VR 4 dimensional experience with zootopia-esque CGI graphics.

I used Novel AI and completly wrote Part 1 out. Trying to use what we know of the second one and just see what the AI does. I've been trying different story threads. It's not too bad. Nothing worth sharing yet though.

I just wrote a really descriptive setup. Basically like a prologue/synopsis about the characters. Who they were, how old they were, how they know each other, what their feelings are. Then at that point you just press generate and it'll spit out 2 or 3 sentences. You can accept it and roll with it or you can change some words around to make the story more specific. That's the story option. i think you can make so you type your actions so it's more like D&D
