personally i've gone there to find non public yiff, since it's an illicit site they won't remove because of DCMA. Yiff is a separate section thank god, and you can use in-browser extensions to download videos off a page. But it's one of the few places to find leaked cub not on e621 or kemono

Everyone should download what they can and archive it like Camp Sunshine series as well.

I am not sure if he got into legal trouble or just tired of the more toxic people in the community.

I think he is from the UK and they have strict laws related to fictional artwork no matter how unrealistic looking it is. He also has a large following and got into some drama with some bad actors in the community so I would not be surprised if he got picked up by the UK authorities especially since he is making a good amount of money on Subscribestar. Hopefully this is not the case and he is not in that type of trouble

Maybe he just needs some time off and needs a break and will return.

The reason Bloodhawk is nuking everything is because he's just crazy.

He's still working on brothers 3 and a new camp sunshine but beyond that there haven't really been any updates. The subscribstar payments has been paused for the last 6 months or so because he's been having a midlife crisis or something, he just posts sporadically saying he's still working.
