Do you not understand how e621 works? Anyone can upload those pieces, and someone will re-upload them continuously until Bunnybits orders a DNP. If Bunnybits was the one uploading, he'd be locked up.

They have tried a few bills to get around it, but by their very definition it would have made almost every Anime and Cartoon illegal.

Technically true. However, I know someone who was involved in a case of actual case involving multiple defendants. A drag net sort of thing. All he had was loli and cub art and the prosecution cut him loose. His lawyer said "They don't care about that. It's too hard to carry to trial and no one's been arrested in years."

Or as this person said:

There aren't a lot of convictions over it, sure, but there are countries where artistic expression is fully protected and the USA isn't one of them.

The US has always had some issues when it comes to sexual content. Though it seems now like a lot of countries are taking it to a new level.

However, the chances that someone will be convicted by this particular law is slim to none specifically because there have been reaffirmation of free speech (thus free expression) laws all over the country. Any attempt to actually press a charge would lead to conflict with more powerful, older laws that superseded it.

Just an observation. Not a legal fact. XD
