Right now I know of his straight cub comic that he put on hiatus because he said its in his old 10-12 panel per page style and doesn't want that workload.

He was sketching out his dadcest one, and now its put on hold for a new gloryhole comic where Will and Alex trick some stranger.

damn, that sucks. It sounds like he's just hopping between different projects to make some money off of them, and either he gets bored or they're taking too much time vs the amount of money made (even if it wasn't released). I remember seeing that he made like $8-10k(?) off of his comics. I don't know if that's over time or all at once after a release, but that's not bad money if it's given within a month after doing about a months so of work. Just hope it's released and that he doesn't turn into a xennos where ideas are constantly dropped for new ideas that are never finished along with BS excuses.

I feel bad, but I agree. The new designed characters are about as interesting as stock YCH fillers. Meanwhile, he was making the ONLY Anubis art that wasn't muscles on muscles on muscles (or tits on tits on tits for the R63 Anubii), and his sassy Egyptian god was utterly adorable. There was a bit of a revelation in the last stream regarding a canon dadcest comic that Harmarist might do IF this comic sells well.

The canon story will have a drunk dad getting blown by Alex and dad jerking off Will with a fleshlight with him passing out and the boys fucking on top his body (but not actually fucking the sleeping dad). The alcohol being a convenient way for the dad to forget the activities of the night before.

Is Hamarist Australian? And I had to check through the comics. The first Sheath and Knife mentions Alex is 10. Brief Intermission mentions he's almost 12. He does seem to act younger than most kids in the 10-12 age range. Its really hard to tell at times.

That's really stupid, tbh. I get being popular and not wanting to be bombarded with requests, even when you're closed, and then deciding when to open up again vs just wanting to do personal work, but man, with the art setup he has and constantly saying that he ain't making money with the stuff he does while simultaneously turning down commissions that are worth a lot is some dumb shit.

I never played AI, but anubis just felt like a stiff af platformer and I assume AI is the same. I only liked anubis because of the porn, and I'm sure as hell everybody else was too. He needs to abandon game dev stuff because it's obviously not working out and move to a model where he releases work on substar and does commissions. Can set it up so every few months he switches from commissions to personal work like comics. Guarantee that he'll make more that way.

AI is exactly the same game as Anubis, just with less flavor. And you hit the nail on the head with Anubis; unless you grew up playing stiff NES games that were more concerned with taking a lot of trial and error to complete with unfair mechanics, it's not a very fun game to play. I'm sure some Gen X'ers will yell at me for being more inclined to play games where lives aren't a feature, but that's just my take on the matter.

This is going to be pretty specific, but I remember reading of a really interesting filtering technique involving Fourier Transform. It uses math to see the frequency components of an image, then you can find the frequencies that match a noise. And with noise patterns like those last 3 panels, the frequency can be really easy to spot. It's one repeating squiggle you spread across the whole image. So you mask those frequencies, apply everything else back to the original image. And abracadabra, the noise is gone!

But most of these filtering techniques come in fairly expensive software suits like Matlab. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a free version, like a plugin that can run in Gimp?
