It’s funny—he draws hypnosis/rape stuff and makes arts of fat animals (and Pokémon) having hardcore sex, and that’s apparently not an issue… But for some reason, cub stuff and anything related to it is special, gross, unacceptable, or whatever.
The reason’s pretty obvious. When he lost a friend, he probably couldn’t handle the judgment and totally freaked out. His friends come off as these sweet, naive types with their moral standards, but honestly, they’re just as messed up and filthy as anyone else.
It’s also about money! He doesn’t want to lose his loyal contacts, clients, and friends who don’t vibe with cub stuff. Clearly, he’s got a thing for shota and cub himself. His case stands out to me because he’s such a hypocrite—calling out fictional art as problematic while he’s over here drawing animals and Pokémon banging in hypnosis and rape scenarios.
He probably hasn’t even stopped drawing that stuff—he just doesn’t post it publicly anymore. I’ve seen artists like him before who say the same thing, but then they’ve got secret alt accounts and private sketches that are insanely “immoral,” full of the exact stuff they’re out there criticizing.
Sure, you get these occasional flashes of morality from former cub artists, but I wouldn’t put a shred of trust in his statement. He didn’t come off as genuine to me—it felt more like damage control to dodge bigger problems.
