you dont have to be such hustle mate, he will eventually released his hd art to the public (check his inkbunny journals). based on my experience he is the one and only artist that is kind enough to do this. all you need to do now is just wait and he will release the hd's or maybe if you have couple of spare dime why not pledge to his low tier substar? his art is above from any average cubs artists

If you watch the artist on IB he posts the content there for free in a month or two, and uploads to e621 too if you don't want to make an account. The subs are just to encourage the artist to draw more, not to have exclusive access to the artwork. He just hit his sub goal too, going to be even more artwork soon, maybe even livestreams before long.

I know where I'm posting. If someone's trying to make some kind of income off their art and they continuously get stolen from, they tend to be angry. Understandably.

I can't stop anyone. But I've seen threads where this happened, the artist quit, and posters said basically, "I don't care that they quit drawing because their stuff kept getting leaked. What I do care about is that while they WERE drawing, we got it for free."

If artist need an excuse to draw less or not at all there are always be "stolen art" or AI that make art less profitable. I don't care much about paywallers. A lot of artist share their work month later and better I support them than encourage another paywall.

Additionally, if the backlog becomes too large, I'll do an "Unvaulted" series where I simply upload all the content I have, excluding the most recent within two month period.

Honestly, the reason I no longer support you is that you make it incredibly hard to get any art. Then you have tiers like for the headshots that you stay in until you eventually get one, hopefully? Or the harder content behind an ridiculously high tier for what it is. And then you go and make tons of art for some randos like IzzySable, and all the stuff you do for Rob (though I know Rob at least holds one of the highest tier slots, or did at least). Supporters are basically paying for you to make a bunch of art of your friends with little to no input.

Secondly, your understanding of the Superfan tier is incorrect. It's not necessary to maintain your subscription in that tier until your turn arrives if the headshot is all you need from it. You simply need to subscribe for a month and then provide your character's information in the "Superfan Icon" channel. Once you've done this, you will receive your icon even if you're no longer subscribed to that tier when it's completed.

as a subscriber, it doesn't give any confidence that anything will get finished, especially for content locked behind higher tiers like the multiple promised comics that have been abandoned or how the hd tier is mostly worthless since all sketches are only posted for the cheapest tier. its been a problem for 5+ years and has been getting worse as time went on to the point where as the other has said, you will abandon a sketch for a finished piece for your closest friends. it reminds me of letodoesart where he always promises good projects and then always finds an excuse for going 2+ months of making nothing and abandoning the project, goes and makes something for a close friend, and then repeats the process.

I 100% agree with that statement actually. As much potential an AI has, it is still not worth artists losing pride in their craft. So, as much as I am pro-AI myself, I can guarantee you that AI has no place in my arts. Life is tough as it is, and art is the last hobby I can still enjoy doing. I got rid of my substar and disc a long time ago, so can't really do that, but I can suggest doing what other subscription artists do and it would be taking monthly suggestions of your or third party characters and picking one or have your subscribers vote on a few suggestions you liked. It would be up to you if you want to allow personal ocs to be allowed or only keep it to your own and third party characters, though i would like to see harmarist's alex character in your style with your zoe.

I only do unvault releases only when the backlog is too large and back when i did some special editions exclusively like international shots etc. But since I stop doing that and releasing quick arts in bundle at a time, the unvault format just became irrelevant. Now all you need to do is follow me at InkBunny and you won't be missing anything I ever made.
