It's a site called "exhentai.org" that sells access to stolen content that protects itself by having its users act very cult-like and defend it by using "sadpanda" as a mysterious and secret name. It's the same e-hentai.org website, but with additional obscene content they don't want their advertisers to be aware of. The process of creating an account has a few caveats (not using public VPNs that were banned/limited, waiting a week after account creation, properly clearing your cookies, etc.), but that would take much longer to document here.

Much longer? There's not really any other steps that you didnt list and I've never seen anyone be as serious as you're implying about the sad panda nickname.
