They're still active, but they only post in a telegram chat group these days afaik. The link to join is in Domovoi's most recent Inkbunny journal post (idk if it still works tho)

They don't post a ton anywhere (I have access to) either. It still happens from time to time and I believe they are trying to get back to it, but they are just busy and I think they live in a rough spot for internet atm? Something like that. Either way I miss their work, probs one of my faves.

Domo's alive, just very busy. I'm blanking exactly what with, I think it might be a college thing. Either way, there is a Telegram group for Camp Pines stuff -- Seff posts there more often, but it's still pretty active.

Any chance of getting more of these Camp Pines, even if they're by other artists? It feels like we're missing some context on the history between the kitty and the wolf here. Or does the story really just start in media res?

There might be a pic somewhere that precedes the comic that I've forgotten, but the story itself starts in media res. The most-relevant 'history' is the premise for the camp itself, that it's meant to teach girls how to cope with their early heats out in the wilderness, away from the cities. Unofficially, part of the process involves carefully-vetted counselors giving the girls an outlet for their urges.

It's kind of a closely held secret irrc so it's kind of hush. I want to say some mom's know? But the dad's def don't and possibly some of the girls. Either way I still dig it.

Not exactly 'chosen to fuck the girls.' It's more that the girls, unless they get control of their heat, are going to throw themselves at any men available. The counselors aren't explicitly recruited to fuck the campers (and they aren't explicitly told at first that they can), but the woman who runs the camp knows it's gonna happen so she carefully chooses counselors and staff she can trust not to abuse that.

Since it's camp pines characters, I think I'll casually mention that Seff still does artwork for it... but keeps it all on the telegram group mentioned on Seff's IB. I'm in a country that would jail for cub, so I'm not able to risk a telegram account myself. Didn't put a request up on R&S since it's a basement topic.
