I really have a hard time believing its him, especially if you remember his irl posts about being doxxed during his college days. Why come back is beyond me. Especially since the current gay cub artists are having major issues getting paid and are trying to find a trust worthy payment platform.

- I've seen many groups formed in the past before but the main issue is, there's no reason at all for CobaltSynapse to come back.

Lately there's been a lot of con artists taking and claiming abandoned artwork and profile names to pose and profit on. Legally the original artists cant fight back due to obvious laws plus their reason for leaving the fandom so... as a fan of CS; I smell a rat.

Also since AI still hasn't been shut down, it would be very easy to train it using all his previous works that people have shared over time to mass produce fakes. The so-called claimed to be CS could live stream similar to what HalcyonWinter does with his cub artwork but... since CS never revealed himself to anyone in the fandom other than his few close friends; it would be impossible to tell if its legit.

- As I said before in the previous post, a lot of the original gay cub artists back in the 1990-2010 were witch hunted down and almost all of them left the fandom. Specifically with CS; him and his friends were attending college and he got doxxed hard; not sure if they were kicked out of the school but after that day all of those accounts were shut down.

So I still hard core advise, do not join that so-called CS Dis cord; I truly believe its a sting operation again to hunt people down; especially when you consider the current issues the USA has with its own problems.

Those that have supported HW know it is him because of the recent and ongoing issues with the credit card companies and paypal rejecting payments towards him and he's personally reached out and informed customers that they need to find another secure way to pay him to finish comissions.

CS where if you remember the issues with Simba daki when the previous printer stopped producing the daki due to the fact they legally couldn't print any more due to an investigation of child porn; CS had to apologize to the community and... at that time, no more could be produced.

However... due to legal issues; the original printer cannot claim TM much less keep those original drawings submitted so... anyone could take that simba image, claim it, and then find another new printer.

Due to how... much time has passed and nothing was renewed by anyone, they can get away with it. However... if you look at the post saying "we brought back it back for this limited time run" for that specific daki; if you look at the photos presented and compare it to the IRL photos of people who own the OG daki; the art style itself is completely different showing indications that it was "AI generated" to look similar and less flaws.

- Even if you dismiss all of this as noise; the fact that CS and his new crew somehow came back and has no postings or complaints with issues of getting payment due to the new rule changes of how NSFW art is dealt with; is highly suspecious.

I'm sorry but CS made it extremely clear that him and his friends were gone and had plenty of damning evidence of them going "poof". The fact none of his private friends can confirmed that its really him; is another red flag.

Look at the points on my side of the view.

- This is a dude that went to college, so I'm going to auto assume; he passed and has a stable job.

- What does he hope to accomplish bringing back his work? Times have changed drastically in the market and these days very bad people... are paying a lot for art depicts of real life events of pe do bear themes. No consent is currently the all time high top requests.

- Since... he abandon cub art, with that much time has passed, clearly... his views are not going to be as "pure" as it was back then with the exposure of more real life experience. So I fear the quality is going to be vastly different in the styles of depiction of normal gay lust of "boys being boys" theme in future works.

Given the gravity of the situation that lead him & his friends to disappear; I'm just curious "why" someone would throw away a free "clean slate" in Life to return to smut.

Yes, most of us all adored CS and a few other artists but the past is the past. Social trends have changed a lot and what some of us percieved on how "male bonding" could be achieved and experienced, became nothing more than that of an ugly disgusting money making machine that non-furs (normal people) came to understand as another form of pe do bears gro oming operation.

The last few of us that hung around that enjoyed the idea of first-time experience, proper education, and male bonding growth done in a correct way; are moving on. Due to the fact that... there's too much corruption in the fandom both in the art department and at furrycons especially the cubcons that we all know why so-called families bring their kids there; its a loss cause.

Some of us are even ashamed to admit being apart of the Lgbt+ & current furry fandom because of the negative stereotyping & corruption that has built over the decades. Hence why... more and more furries are migrating over to beastmen catagory and marking themselves as individual rogue homosexuals with different morals.

Also... take into account on the idea that everyone in the world has 3 years and 3 months left of a certain crazy lunatic in the USA at the moment. Now remind yourself on how much damage has been done and how much damage has YET to be done.

i do a lot of ai and this looks like it was done by a human. you can get great results with ai but there is always something wrong with it especially with furry work. the teeth,whiskers,the tiny strands of hair on shoulders and chest and fur coloration separation in the ear,claws,belly button,and nipples all look correct and consistent. these areas are the spots you should look at first with good ai generations because there will be something wrong with them always. could it be ai and fixed by hand afterwards? possibly but everything looks consistent down to the smallest detail so i would say its real.

Mousepad was made as a response to allowing AI art on inkbunny and pretty much nothing more. AI is was what caused Kammy to spaz out and quit inkbunny, which was far before greenreaper created that whole issue.
They also seem to have less rules for behavior and push more effective blocking tools instead.
In fact a QnA mentioned why there's rules against "hate symbols" in art and they responded they only have it for some sort of government compliance where they host it.
