Literally use a CobaltSnow LoRA and run each page through image2image with low de-noising set (like 0.3 or something). Absolute braindead genning process when most of the work is already done on each page. Shame my rig is complete low power trash so I can't do it myself

Spoken like someone who's only read a tutorial and never actually done it themselves.

First of all, the furry models out there are hot garbage without simple colors. Sketches without colors are nearly impossible for them to interpret. The level of sketching here is just about enough for a person to understand what's going on, but certainly not any of the existing checkpoints.

Second, you're under the misconception that we can simply feed the machine with pictures, move a slider around a bit and click a button: buddy we would have to prompt extensively for each panel. For a comic as long as this one, it would be hours and hours of work.

Third: you mentioned 0.3 denoising. Cool! 0.3 isnt enough to make shit up from sketches. 0.3 will barely change anything, and is used only as precision work to change fine details. This comic sketch is great, but to make fully fleshed out characters out of the sketches, we'd have to do TONS more for each panel. We'd even have to draw some of the missing shapes and lines ourselves.

And no, an artist Lora doesn't actually make that any easier. Loras change a specific style into another, forces specific characters to appear, but there is a price to their use: the engine gets less creative, less adaptive, its understanding of the picture becomes even worse.

What could work, and this is a proven concept, is if someone who's got just enough skill with a brush would give us the missing lines and simple colors. An artist needs to finish this first (even badly, that would be enough), and then an AI user could do the detailing and finish, and re-style it into Cobalt's style.
