No, it's just lazy. Don't post unfinished comic pages. If you're not getting paid for the project and you don't have any other motivation to draw it, drop it. Move on to something you enjoy or nets you income. Don't half-ass pages when the money dries up. That's simply unprofessional.

This isn't even super-detailed stuff. It's cell-shaded, black-and-white lineart. No colors, no background, only two characters with no complex features and minimal props.

Why aren't you charging by the page? Nothing else makes sense for a comic. Finish the pages you were paid to draw, and don't start other pages that haven't been paid for, especially when whoever commissioned this comic has done this multiple times.

The artist could've atleast added in 2 or 3 more panels depicting the action, but no let's just skip that part since it's the most important. Yeah it's free, fair enough, but that still doesn't change the fact that it's rushed.

I am the commissioner and this is a commissioned comic, don't take it out on the artist. They charge by the hour with all their work. My pockets are empty thats why this comic is taking so long and the quickness of the sex scenes is because I wrote the script knowing I wouldn't be able to fund a big project. In the end this comic is for me, if others like it too then great but dont expect me to get bent out of shape because someone doesnt like it for one reason or another. I also like a little story with my sex and not just someone getting railed.

Also, half completed pages show up everywhere on this site so I honesty dont see an issue with furs posting the unfinished ones.

Charging by the hour for art is horrifically stupid. Unless you are a machine that just cranks out art, there's no way to make it consistent. Depending on the complexity of the page, it could take anywhere from an hour to days to finish it. It's a terrible business model for art that creates these sort of issues.

The right way is to charge by the page, with the price going up and down depending on complexity. A quick storyboard is drawn up, the commissioner agrees to the format and pricing, payment is made, and the page is finished. Done. No hassle, no half-finished pages. This guy obviously knows how long it takes him to draw things if he can charge by the hour, so make an approximation and have that be the price of the page overall.

The artist Aogami does the half page posts all the time. Some commissioners can only afford a little at a time, making him a good alternative for those who have a hard time saving up the money.

His art all looks the same to me. I don't understand why, but it feels very lifeless. Like all his characters are interchangeable and there are little weird errors with all his art that I can't quite put my finger on. That said he is the only artist doing good commissions like cubs and animals together or pokemon with girls, so still one of my favorite artists. So many good artists just do such boring contrived shit.

A note from the writer: Hello everyone, I know some of you have been waiting for me to commission the rest of this comic. I am afraid to say that I probably never will do so. The amount of money it will take to finish is just not in my bank account. Also any free money I do have I want to spend on art for myself.
