Even if he wanted to, he wouldn't be able to use patreon for the comic. Even if it was a fake DMCA going around by 1 dude, patreon themselves don't want to take the chances because they will be hit with a burn if it happened to be real. Patreon is so strict about it that they pay people to stalk artists who they have temped banned by either rule breaking or dmca's. If they spot that the artist is associating patreon with dmcaable material or banned work (can literally just be a link to their page saying it's a tip jar), they'll nag the artist and then eventually ban them on patreon if nothing is done.

Basically, he can do it on his own time, but it can't be associated with patreon in any way, shape, or form because patreon will be the ones stopping him.

I'm digging the comic so far, and this isn't even a complaint, just kind of curious at the choice.

But I was under the impression that when the artist doesn't draw genitals, it's for non sexual scenes, okay that make sense I'm fine with that.

But then here it's hey help me, I'm hurt, randomly full detail female genitalia, definitely not supposed to be a sexual scene.

Again, it's not even an issue, just seems weirdly inconsistent.

I'd actually argue to say it's more consistent than when artists don't draw genitalia then a sexual scene occurs and now it magically appears. You can see in pages 6 and 9, if the angle presents itself there is genitalia. Even in page 11 when they are looking at the avalanche, there is some, albeit subtle, vulva and backsacks.

It's not what we're used to in these comics for sure but it makes sense; with unclothed feral animals (or any animals in general) genitalia would be visible at certain angles regardless of the content of the scene.

The thing at the table with the beta Pokemon doesn't look much like a Minccino. The bartender sorta looks like a shiny Eevee, but that's only because of the prominent neck fluff. The yellow streak in their hair really messes up the design.

The artists were dating, broke up, and now Hioshiru is dating someone else. Totally sure there's no butthurt feelings there between comic partners. She's also Russian, and both payment and life there in general is currently a shit show.
