Last I checked he charges $10/month for early access to comic pages that he releases every 1-2 weeks. So not only is it not $15 a page, but how childish, entitled and embarrassingly horny do you have to be to whine about someone trying to make a living drawing shit that you're just too impatient to wait to fap to? If someone can make a living off their comics and we as non-patrons have to wait an extra week, how is that the end of the world? You must be mega-rich and spoiled or unemployed and lazy to have 0 sympathy for someone trying to make a living off their art.

Guess there's no point in me to keep drawing more pages. They just keep getting leaked anyway. Which really kills motivation.

I still feel bad 'cause there's still a lot of people here who want to support the project and if I stop, I'll be letting them all down.

And I get it. You can't stop people from leaking stuff. Still sucks though.

Maybe I'll do one final page to show off how things might've turned out.

The right thing to do would be to ignore what people say about you here, and continue to create the content that caused people to want to support you on patreon in the first place. The only disservice you'd do otherwise is to yourself, and your patrons.
I can understand the dilemma when you're trying to use patreon as one of your main sources of income, but stopping altogether would likely be worse for you.
People leaking pages is essentially inevitable - you should try to look at it from a different perspective - the more active this thread is, the more you know that your content could attract a larger audience, since there exists a demand for it. Don't give up hope

I never understood this thinking. As long as you get your money from Patreon, who cares about leaks? Why do artist always take leaks as lost sales, instead of the free advertising it actually is? 'Cuz people, who look at leaks were not gonna pay you anyway. Either because they can't or don't see it as good bang-for-buck. But this can change later if/when they have more money to burn. Bitchin' about leaks is a good way to lose current and potential customers, and likewise, letting leaks happen can and will get you the sympathy this business ultimately runs on.
As for criticism... it's art and porn! Both purely subjective! Criticism is an unavoidable part of 'em. Get over it!

I'm truly disappointed in y'all. It's bad enough, that MODCA is essentially holding their own content hostage, but the fact, that you guys actually encourage this behavior... makes me sad. The golden rule: Never bend a knee to threats! It'll only lead to more threats!

Instead they just put a footnote on their pub posts that they do not like that we're reposting the stuff and that if we do we could "at least link to their other sites" (Fat chance, tbh anyone with a mind for googling or at least bothering with FA's search could just literally copy/paste the artist name into the search bar and go from there, Modca's art is not hard to find)

Those are the real filenames. At least the filenames the poster got when downloading from wherever he got them (patreon?).

The filenames themselves are UUIDs;
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universally_unique_identifier

It's done because a lot of the time people upload files with filenames that are identical to one another (like "aaa.png").
So instead of messing about with different folder structures or adding numbers to the end of the filename, they just rename the files to a UUID string.
This means they can basically store all the file references (and even files) in one place and not have to worry about anything ever being assigned the same reference, or ever running out of possible reference IDs.

Yes, MODCA has been putting his pics into lower res versions lately. Since I'm just a "lurker" I haven't subscribed to him yet, but in his Kemono, all his pics since Ch. 32 of this comic are low res variants (around 1200px or something compared to older's 2700px max)

Perhaps he moved the real hi res pics into higher tiers? I dunno, in his Patreon/Kemono pages he also said some bitchy plans about turning down pirates from his contents, I bet you already read them.

Anyway, if you want higher res pics you can refer to >>2047436; use Waifu2x. It almost doesn't have any negative impact in the quality too.

Honestly I'm also disappointed by how the artist puts lower res pics on his Patreon page, musky and hypers ain't much of my thing but MODCA's pokeboys are an exception lol

I can confirm that Modca's low-detail drawing style upscales with Waifu2x very easily.
I wouldn't be surprised if the results are like 90% identical to the actual full-res images.

EDIT: By the way, I just checked his paytreon page again, and he's removed the "full resolution files" text from the $5 tier. That means people signed on with the expectation that he was going to release the full-res files, and then he decided not to do it. What an asshole. I remarked it was false advertising before, well it's DEFINITELY false advertising now.
