Sometimes I feel like I'm one of the only people who doesn't mind waiting for the sex in NSFW comics. I read them for the story... the porn is just a bonus. If you're only in it for the porn, there are a million videos and mags you can go look at. But comics? Comics are stories. That's the point.
Yet every time I look at threads or comment sections, it's full of people complaining like, “This artist sucks,” or, “They should’ve fucked already,” or whatever other criticism because the characters aren’t banging by page 3. Like… why are you even reading it if you’re not enjoying the ride? Just close the tab and go find something else. No one's making you stay.
I just don’t get the entitlement. It’s okay if a comic takes time. Build-up matters. Character matters. If there's going to be porn, I’d rather care about who’s involved and why it’s happening. If it's just sex for sex’s sake, sure, it can look hot, but it doesn’t stick with you the same way.
Maybe that’s just me. But I think good storytelling is worth the wait. :3
